Anyone else taking Clomid? I would love to find some buddies who are doing the clomid thang... I am at day 5 of cycle, day 4 of clomid ttc for baby 2. So far this time around I have had two cycles, one resulted in a short-lived preg. and the other didn't even register on my blood test! This month on two tabs a day - maybe the boost my body needs!
Hope to hear from someone soon!

Hi!

Yep me on clomid with PCOS too! Ryan was a clomid baby, after 7 years of trying we fell the first month on clomid (mind you that is after having exploratory surgery done to see what was wrong with me!).

Now we are currently trying for no.2 and are on clomid again! I am currently on Day 15. I am on the same dosage as before but with ryan I took clomid from day 5 to 9 where as this time arouind my doctor wanted me to have it from day 2 to 5... so far on the OPK i haven't registered a LH surge so will just have to keep bding and wait for the blood test on day 21.

:D

Great to know there are some other clomid babies on the way soon!! I think the most frustrating thing with clomid is that it can react differently each cycle so a great response one month doesn't necessarily mean the same next month. I took 100mg a day for 5 days from day 2. It was the magic amount with baby #1 so fingers crossed. My doctor doesn't do any tests until Day 21 so the only indication I have about whether I have ovulated is a vm check or ov pains if they are strong enough. Good luck to both of you!! Day one for me was Oct 1, so at least this month it is easy for me to track my days! Looking forward to hearing more from you soon! :)

I am on cd 12 today and am going to start opk's tomorrow(last clomid tablet cd9). I haven't tried them before so thought i would give them a go. I thought i had ov pains last cycle but blood test said otherwise. Loulous mum i am two days ahead of you this cycle. Fingers crossed this is it.

Hey Sophttc and others!
It seems that on clomid, the times I am sure I am ovulating I haven't and the times I am sure the clomid hasn't worked I have. What's going on there??? As much as I am trying to be positive about it all, am a bit disappointed that day 12 is almost over and I haven't felt any physical signs. Not even the normal bad skin etc....
We will keep on b/ding regardless as based on prior experience, you never do know. But - I worry because I am on 100mg now, god, imagine the risk of multiples on 150mgs!!!!
Good luck and can't wait to hear how you go... :)

I know what you mean, last month i was sure i was ovulating and got a big suprise when my Ob said nope. This month i don't want to get my hopes up too much. I think you can ovulate later on clomid, up to around day 20, so don't give up hope. I am on day 16 today and still no surge on opk yet, but live in moderate hope.

Yay! This morning I had some signs of ovulation! A couple of twinges and then some promising cm! It is day 16. You are right about the late ovulation thing with clomid - can happen between 6 and 12 days from last tablet. Last month my day 21 test suggested I hadn't ovulated but on about day 40 I had a period indicating that I had ovulated but really late. Fingers crossed for next two weeks!!

I am now cd19 and have some really weird pressure around my ovaries pushing against my tummy. I am wondering if it is cysts, or maybe ovulation??? I wouldn't have a clue. Good luck Loulousmum with catching your egg.

Day 22 and waiting waiting waiting....I am pretty sure that we didn't catch the egg - I have had no pregnancy symptoms and yesterday had a big emotional teary which to me is more a sign of pmt than pregnancy. I am very tempted to do a test, one of those "as early as 7 days after ovulation" ones but may as well wait until Monday when blood test comes back to tell me how my hormone levels were on the clomid. Hope your weird pressure pains were lots of eggs coming out!!!

Well my cd21 blood test said no ovulation. Though my levels had increased x5 from the month before. I think I ovulated on cd20 though - would that have showed in my blood test result? Anyway I am doing one more month on 100mg clomid and then moving on to injections. Let me know your blood test results. I believe you don't often have pregnancy symptoms in the first weeks, so it's not over yet.

Hi this is totally new for me but we have been trying since March this year durring that time i have been visited by AF 5 times and my husband has been woundering y i was worried about it.
I first seen my Gyn last month and as of monday she has placed me on clomid. I have to say I feel a little strange about it. I have been reading information about it and when to start taking it. I was told at day 13 i was told to start taking clomid.

Hello, I am new to this website! My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a long time now. I found out I had PCOS :crying: I tried Clomid before and was only taking 50mg so I am hoping that 100mg will work. I am not really sure how this works??? I feel like a lost puppy! If anyone has any advise what to do or signs to look for I would appreciate it. I feel like sometimes I am not doing the right thing. One person says don't think about it, it will just happen. And someone else says pray as hard as you possibly can. Someone tells me lay with you legs over your head for 20 minutes. All I know is that I have tried them all and still nothing.:hair: I am tired of crying every month when a negative sign comes up! So any help would be great, or websites to go to!! Thanks :)
