Typical routine for a 9 month old? How many bottles and solid feeds? How much awake time between naps? And how many naps a day? I think my little girl is transitioning at the moment so just looking for a rough guideline of where we should be at, and a few examples of what has been working for you would really help!
Thanks!!
Our day goes like this:
Wake 6-7
Breastfeed
Nap 9-11/12
Lunch - Breastfeed and Solids
Afternoon Snack
Breastfeed
Nap 4-5
Dinner Solids (whatever we are having usually)
Bath
Breastfeed
Bed 8ish
(sometimes a feed overnight between 1-3am)
Our typical day looks like this:-
6-7am wake/milk
8.30am breakfast
9.30-11am morning nap
11am milk
12.30 lunch
2-3.30pm afternoon nap
3.30pm milk
5pm dinner
5.30-6pm bath
6.30pm milk
7pm bed
He's still having 4 milk feeds and doesn't look like dropping one quite yet. Some days he may sleep a bit longer, but it's usually right on 1.5hrs each time!
DD (almost 10mo) doesn't really have a set routine and what semblance of a routine we had has completely gone out the window thanks to teething!! But typically on a non-daycare day it's something like:
6-7am wake, breakfast (vita brits with puréed pear and formula)
8am bottle
8/9am morning nap, usually about 1-2 hours but on Saturday it was 4hrs!
11:30 lunch (veggies or avo sandwich or fruit or whatever's on hand) and bottle
12/1pm afternoon nap, usually 1-2 hours
3pm possible snack and bottle
5:30 dinner (whatever we're having or veggies with rice or pasta)
6/6:30 bath
6:30/7 bottle, story time and bed
Midnight - 2am possession by the evil crying non-sleeping teething gremlins
I'm hoping she'll defeat the gremlins soon but I'm not holding my breath...
Our baby led routine for DD 8.5 months goes somewhat like this:
7 am wake, Solid: porridge or homemade muesli, banana and yoghurt
10-11am a 40 min nap
12-1 lunch: generally fruit, grated carrot, cheese, a bit off whatever I'm having
1 - 4 She will generally have one hour nap anywhere in the arvo.
6 Dinner: whatever we are having.
8ish Bed
Yes, she doesn't sleep very much, and never has.
Is still breastfed on demand, about 8 times a day and still feeds frequently, every 2 hours at night.

Wow bugsy, I really feel for you! Minimal sleep during the day to catch up on rest from 2hr nightly feeds still?! Golly gosh!
