DP and i knew each other for a year beofre we got toggether and we got engaged 6 months after and plan to marry in 2008.

I was just wondering how long everyone else had known their DP beofre they got engaged and how long between your engagment and you wedding.

I tried to post this in the wedding section but it didn work

In 2001, 6 weeks after my 18th birthday we officially moved in together.

We got engaged in Feb 2000 and moved in together later that week (we'd already planned to move in together before we got engaged!)

We then got married in January 2001.

My df and i met November 2001, got together in Feb 2002, ds wwas born September 2003, ds2 born January 2005 and twins are due february 2007. We will be married November 25th 2006!! so only a few more weeks!! Df always jokes that i have been pregnant for most of the time we have been together ;)

3 months after hooking up (worked together before, not closely tho) got engaged.

wedding 3 months after that, pregnant before wedding (planned)

Now been married for just over two years and TTC #2 :yelclap:

It's so weird how it all happened, cause I went through a super nasty divorce and had sworn I would never date again, let alone marry :eek:

Hi there!
I actually met wonderful DH about 7 years ago - we were dating other people!
We broke up with our respective partners (or were both dumped I should say!), remained just friends for a while, then
Mar 2004 - started dating
July 2005 - moved in together
May 2006 - he proposed on my birthday
June 2006 - married (in Bali!)

This is our first month of TTC and couldn't be happier !!!

Okay so me and Dp knew each other for about 5 years before we started dating in March 03. We moved in together from day 1. Found out we were expecting in Dec 03 and had our first bub August 04. Engaged November 04 and still waiting for the day...... (we haven't even decided on a date yet!)

I have completely lost track of how long DF and I have been together...but its goes something like this...

Knew each other about 4-5 years before we got together. Were together 4 years before we got engaged. Will have been engaged for 3 years when we get married. (sept, 2007).

He got back in the September, we moved in together in November, got pregnant with DS 1 the same month:eek: , got engaged in August (1997), had baby in September, fell pregnant with DD 1 in November, had baby in the following August(1998).
