Hi MrsK - I am due on 26th July also! Just found out last week. This will be my 2nd, my daughter is currently 21 mths old. I am well and looking forward to blossoming again (I loved being pregnant), just a bit anxious about the first 6-12 mths as my daughter was a terrible sleeper and didn't sleep thru til she was 1. Good luck with it all, Jane

Hello fello due in Julyers
I'm due on the 17th....though am telling everyone Im due late July ;)
This is my 7th pregnancy...and after lots of miscarriages it is very exciting to be 9weeks. Ive had a few episodes of spotting (very anxiety provoking) ......so took myself along for a scan last week and was elated to see a strong little heart beat (first time Ive ever seen a heart beat)....The best thing about seeing the heart beat was that it allowed me to relax & gave me permission to acknowledge this pregnancy and connect with my little one.
I look forward to shareing journeys :)

Hi there Kerrie, congratulations on your Pregnancy, It is such an exciting time... I hope all goes well as I am sure it will... My husband and I are trying for baby number 3, with no luck as yet... Both of my other children were not planned, so this is going to be a little different, I think the thinking about it is stopping the whole process from happening and having people say "just relax", Is easier said then done, I am trying to keep busy and think of other things to pre-occupy myself... Well I hope you enjoy the Forum, best wishes, Haana :)

Congrats Kerri,
That's wonderful news. You must have been so happy and relived to see the little heartbeat. They are truly miracles. Good luck with everything and hope you have a very uneventful 9 months. Keep us posted on how you are going.

Thanks guys,
Am very happy to be on board & look forward getting to know everyone a little better over the next few months :)
Haana I was just like you...v. preocupied (became addicted to pregnancy testing kits!). I think its hard not to focus on what your trying to maninfest in your life....once I realised and gave myself permission to do that, instead of trying to take everyones "relax" advice, things got easier....In addition I quickly sorted who I could talk to (who wouldnt be board silly and could be supportive) about my fertility rollercoaster.....Dont know what I would do without those 4 gorgeous friends of mine!!!.... I guess this forum is another means of doing that, tapping into like minded souls who will hear you when you need to sound off.
Kerrie :)

Thanks Kerrie for your kind thoughts... Sometimes I feel selfish coming on this forum asking for advice about baby #3, as some of the ladies are trying so hard to conceive baby #1, and have fertility issues, Whereas I on the other hand have already had 2 children, So I know I can have children... But both my girls were unplanned so it is the planning of a child that I need advice on... When it just happens unnexpectedly it is the biggest shock... And now that we are planning for a child this is all I think about... And I guess the selfish part is that I think because I already have 2 children, I figure baby #3 would happen as soon as we started trying... Anyway, as each month goes by I become a little more relaxed, Anyway, Once again Kerrie Thanks and Congratulations, Looking forward to sharing your journey also, Haana :)

Hi, I'm back on board now and have read my previous entry about being "well" and "looking foward to blossoming" :eek:ohmygod what a shock to the system - I have been soooooooo sick with norning sickness, fatigue and now my pelvis has started playing up already. After my first one I assumed this would be a piece of cake and it has been anything but!!! Anyway I'm at the tail end of the morning sickness roller coaster and will have my 12 wk scan on Friday :) I hope you are all well and Kerrie I hope that little heartbeat just keeps getting stronger by the minute. Best wishes, Jane

noni and lily's mum

I have 3 children, my youngest is almost 6 weeks old, all 3 were planned, but the first 2 I had no trouble conceiving, but with the third it took a lot longer (not sure if it was because it was 10 years later or not). We actually decided to leave it for awhile as we had planned a holiday and didn't want to be too pregnant or due while away, but of course this is when I fell pregnant, so I guess it was because we weren't "trying" is why it happened (always the case :) as they say) So hopefully it will happen soon for you.

Hey guys, I stumbled across this forum and it looked great, so hi to you all. I am a mum of 3 children with baby number 4 due July 25th, although I am booked to have a c/section around July 11 due to complications. I am on the Southside of Brisbane and try to keep active with my own scrapbooking business to run. I have 2 boys, 8 1/2 and 7 and a 3 yr old girl and this baby we just found out is another girl, so 2 of each is nice to round it up!

Hope you are all well, morning sickness still plagues me at 19 weeks, but oh well, what can you do?

Hope to chat to many of you soon,

TraceyC.

Hi,

Im currently 20 weeks pregnant and due 17th July, 2005.

Have had the big scan now, all is ok, except placenta is sitting very low to cervix, have another scan at 32 weeks - has anyone else had Placenta Praevia....???

I feel movements daily now, so unreal to feel and now accept you have something inside.

Still nervous as hell as this is my first baby, and was not a planned pregnancy, do other mothers (still hard to believe i will be one) have these anxious feelings, sometimes I feel so uncertain in how I will cope with motherhood.

All the best for all...

Donna :)

Welcome Lauren, schnibble and Donna Mee :)
I'm due on the same day as you Donna :D (My first buba also)
Like you, I found my 19 week scan very reassuring...and am LOVING feeling my buba do summersaults inside.
I think its REALLY normal to feel a bit anxious about motherhood &"the unknown" (I was feeling particularly overwhelemed about finances last week) . Deep down I think one of the reasons why we gestate for 9 months is to give us time to "prepare". ............& I reassure myself by thinking about all the thousands of women/ men whove done it before us......we, like them, will figure it out as we go...everyone else has ;)

PS:
Re placenta previa,
It's not that unless it's touching or covering the OS (medical term for the internal opening of the Cervix). Low lying placenta's are different, there just "Low Lying"....as you baby grows your uterus will also grow and your placenta will "migrate" upwards.
Imagine you have a deflated balloon and you draw a dot with a pen near the mouth piece....then as you blow it up the dot "migrates" up also....your placenta does the same thing :)

hi

I'm due July 22 and I'm so very excited and can't wait to meet the little angel
I already have a daughter who will be 18mnths when this one comes along. My hubby and I planned the two infact we wanted them a little closer. My daughter 13mnths comes up to me and lifts my shirt and kisses my belly, so very magical let me tell you. I to love being preggars and I wear clothes to reflect this I love everything about being a mum too although we hope this one settles alittle easier. I hope everyones taking time to enjoy this time they grow so quick.
