Hey everyone I was just wondering if anyone has used those aquarium soothers you attach to the cot and they are 'supposed' to sooth baby to sleep?
Do they work, and would they work on a 6 month old???

We have one for each of our girls - I don't know about "soothing" to sleep but we use it as their signal that it is time for sleeping and the music has a lovely deep bass note to it - having listened to it in the middle of the night for the last couple of years I find it very soothing myself!

HI Harmony83

Yep, we have one and find it to be really great. I was reluctant at first as I didn't really want to have Ben be reliant on it to get to sleep.....

I started using it in the day time at first for his naps and it saved my sanity!! Then after that started using it at night....like draught said it has a lovely tone....

When Max was first born i used one that sounded like the womb and worked a treat, but now seems to be growing out of it, the the aquarium soother and works as well, but for max not as good, so i bought nursery rhyme and seame st cds and play them inside which i find works just as well...

I also recently bought those these books which came a mini projector with the book story on it, like winnie the pooh, toy story etc and they play on the ceiling and tires max out quick smart..There bout $15 from target...

We got one given to us that plays music as well as that womb noise but only after I had struggled with DS sleep for 4 months  I remember thinking this would have been great for when DS was a newborn as the womb noise was lovely......next time :)
