I am so suprised

I am so suprised that breastfeeding has been so easy for me so far!
I come from a family where no-one breastfed, and all I ever saw growing up was ff. Then, throughout my pregnancy I heard so many stories of problems with breastfeeding.
So, during my pregnancy, I joined the ABA, went to a workshop and read up on it. I was expecting it to be hard and painful, and very problematic.... but it is going really well! Don't get me wrong, the first few days were a little akward and my nipples were pretty sore, but armed with knowledge I knew how to help it.
I never thought I would say this, but I really enjoy it! It's a great time where I can gaze at my daughter and tell her how much I love her :hugs: ... it's also so nice knowing that she gets all her nutrition from me!

So here is a big :smiliedance: for breastfeeding success!

Yay! Good for you for getting informed and at least giving it a go, even tho your family have never BF.
It just goes to show that it is an individual thing - some can which is great, some can't even though they really want to, and some don't want to, which is also fine as it is a personal choice which no-one else can decide for us (except perhaps Baby!).

I found breastfeeding easy too. Such an easy decision to make when its trouble-fee! And good on your for anticipating possible problems and joining the ABA while pregnant!

Well good on you for joining the ABA before you had the baby! I went to a few meetings as well it helped so much in the early days, I have found it to be easy as well, I truly feel for the women who find it hard! Breastfeeding is wonderful!:smiliedance:
