going back on the pill?

I had bub 7 weeks ago she is completely formula fed and I have just got a script to go back on the contraceptive pill levlin.
the question I have is do I need to wait till I have a period to start taking it (having had a period since having bub) or can I just start taking it whenever??

I usually wait so it doesn't screw me up too much and I keep the balance of my hormones.

My 6 week old DS is fully formula fed and I've been back on the pill for a month. My midwife and doctor said there's nothing wrong with starting it whenever you wish.

so do I just start on the active pills for instance just start on a Thursday pill today?? even tho I haven't had a period?? I'm confused cause I never started the pill without a period?? but the doctor told me to just start

You start the first line on the Friday (for today) and discard the the rest of the week you missed, then continue like that till the sugar pills.

so if I start the pill before a period does that mean I will get a period when I take the white pills? does that make sense??
