Hi,
I know this must sound weird to you guys who are suffering from morning sickness - but I'm worried that I am not feeling a thing - despite the fact I'm about 7 weeks pregnant. I guess my fears stem from the fact that I miscarried two times before my son was born, and those two times, I remember my morning sickness stopping for a week - then I began bleeding and consequently miscarried. Could it be that the feotus has died and that's why I'm not experiencing anything? Will HCG still be present in my blood if this is the case - as I'm thinking about buying a HPT to make sure I'm still pregnant. I'm still waiting on the hospital to let me know when I can go in for my first visit - and that will be at least another two weeks. How can I find out sooner so I can stop worrying?
Thx in advance

I didn't have any nausea with this one at all but I did throw up a few times. With Jess I had nausea from about 6 weeks till 12 weeks but never threw up so I guess it was alright. If you still worried go and see your GP
Every pregnancy is different. My m/s this time started at about 6.5 weeks. You might be lucky to not get it or it might just be starting a bit later!
After 2 miscarriages last time, I'd go to the GP and request a blood test to check on your HCG levels. I had this done at 5 and 7 weeks and then an u/s at my Obs office at 9 weeks(although I had to push for this a bit more - mainly because DP was going os). I've only had 1 miscarriage but my age (40  ) put me at higher risk of miscarriage.
Seek out the support you need. I can understand you'd be concerned after your experiences last time.
Good luck.

I was the same this pregnancy. I was scared that maybe the doctors pregnancy test was inaccurate! as my last two pregnancys i needed so many buckets on hand because of severe morning sickness!
I vomitted once this pregnancy (and that was becuase i didnt eat anything for a bit in the morning, silly me  )
Do not stress to much, not everyone gets morning sickness. You might suffer more fatigue this time though because i am sooo tired, way more then the other 2. (then again iw asnt running after 2 kids...:p )

No 2 pregnancies are the same, I didn't get ms with Hayley until I was 3 months along (about 12 or 13 weeks) and it came and went, this pregnancy (I am almost 10 weeks) and have it since day one but some days I am fine other days I am spending all day over the toilet bowl. Consider yourself lucky that you don't get it.

i was a bit worried about this too. i'm 6 weeks with my first, and had violent morning sickness earlier last week (i've had nagging nausea up until then). but it's suddenly tapered off. i'm still a little worried... not that i particularly want the morning sickness back!! ;)
i'm just hoping that everything is still okay.

 I have had all different experiences with my 4 pregnancies,With ds1 I had m/s from day dot!till about 6 months, with dd1 hardly had any at all,and with dd2 I only threw up as soon as I got out of bed, with #4 somedays I throw up others I don't feel a thing.Sometimes m/s doesn't start till about 7-8 weeks. My girlfriend is pregnant with #3 and she wasn't sick for even one day with first 2 but this time most days she can barely move.I think everyone is different and the old wives tale m/s means a healthy pregnency is just that-a n old wives tale!Due to past m/c if your'e worried see your doc but try and think that things will be fine.:hugs:

I had no morning sickness either... Think positive and think yourself lucky!!! :hugs:
oh hon ... I had NO sickness with my pregnancy either .. dont stress ..
there were only two smells I couldn't handle (cooked corn??? and seafood) - everything else was FINE!!
I didn't throw up once in the 9 months ... appreciate it (and dont mention it in front of other pregnant ladies  )

My GP (I also read it somewhere) told me that only half of all pregnant women get sick. Thanks your lucky stars you are in the good half!! :yelclap:

Sorry to put a dampner on things - but I actually DID have a reason to worry! HCG tests showed very low numbers and I eventually miscarried at 8 weeks last week (see post in Pregnancy Loss forum). Thx for all your positive support though - good luck to you all...
