When did you test and get your BFP??

just curious as to when everyone tested (ie how many days post ovulation, or days post af due date), and when did you finally get that BFP :)

i think i tested about 1week after i was late for my af... they usually say wait 2weeks but i was too impatient! :o

2 weeks after AF was due... I didn't even think i could be pregnant, i was doing it just to rule it out as a reason for no AF before i went to see the doctor... I honestly thought that test was gunna come back negative... so you can imagine my reaction when i saw two big fat bright pink lines... i could have died :eek:

It was so weird with me testing this time around. I seriously thought I was pregnant 3 months beforehand and unfortunately I got a big Fat :bfn: . This time around I was madly cleaning the house, mopping, swepping cleaning toys up lifting sofas (and I do mean literally lifting sofas chucking out in the backyard as we were having a new one delivered the next day) at about 11pm. I thought this was really weird and I took out a Pregnow test at midnight and did a test and it was :bfp: . I was in shock then I prayed I wouldn't miscarry after all my heavy lifting. I went to dr's 3 days later and I was 6 weeks pregnant.

I was tested while i was menstruating.
Obviously it was negative, But then 6 weeks later, Positive pregnancy test, 6 weeks along.

With my previous pregnancies, I usually tested about 2-3 days before AF was due and got a postive. LOL! I'm not a very patient person!

If i'd have known then that i could possibly have tested a couple of days earlier i would have, i'm not very patient either!

For me it was 15 DPO, with FMU on a 25 U/mL test, came up with a strong +ve so I probably could have tested earlier, but didn't think I was pg :laughing: :laughing: (did a Ultra sensitive Fortel (10 U/mL) that night and it also came up +ve right away).

hey everyone,

af due today, and tested and got a :bfn: , :gloomy: , I am not going to let if affect me though (easier said than done), plus af isnt here, so there is still a chance until af comes!!!!!

has anyone got a BFN before and actually been pg??????

Hi Holly - so sorry about your BFN - fingers crossed that it's just a little early to test.

I did get a negative result only to find that I was pregnant. I got an ULTRA faint positive (on my 3rd pregnancy) then all the tests after were negative. I had a small bleed a couple of weeks later - but no where near my 5-7 day, heavy AF and then I was a few weeks pregnant! Our bodies can do all sorts of funny things but I've learned that if we take a step back and relax and try not to focus too much on it then it all of a sudden happens!

Well I am 6DPO and tested this morning to get this:

What do you reckon? It is really light and came up within five minutes.
Not getting excited but :fingerscrossed: will see if it gets darker tomorrow or whether it is jsut a ghost line.

Thanks, but Hmm I'm not gonna get too happy just yet, if I do and it turns out to be a false + I will be devo, so will keep waiting and testing until AF does or doesn't come :fingerscrossed:

I tested the day before af was due and got a BFN and then two days after and got a BFP, then i went on to test everyday for the next 2 days:o
My first pregnancy i never once got a positive wee test had to have blood tests done.

i tested on the morning that my DS 1st birthday party was on and AF was 1 hour late so i tested and got a :bfp:
Should say that i always get my AF at the same time on my due date so it was a shock when i dudnt have it by 9am

I got my first very FAINT BFP on CD12 and confirmed with bloods on CD13.

with #1 tested a week after i was due for AF - poss, with #2 i tested the day before AF, #3 i tested 2 or 3 days before AF, #4 I tested the day before AF and with #5 I tested 3 days before AF
