Mine is like $66 a day before ccr. Per child. But you get discounts for 2 kids and then another discount for 3 days an I think it's another discount for 5 days.

My center provides everything. Food, nappies, wipes etc. I only have to make sure they have clothes and a hat.

For me to have both kids in full time was costing me around 900 a fortnight, that's with CCB. I literally had $10 left out of my pay after daycare fees had been paid. I ended up leaving my job because it just wasn't worth me working. DD1 goes 2 days a week now and I am paying about 250 a fortnight. The centre provides food but that's it.

I was going to enroll my twins and it would have cost $140 a day, no thanks!

I have two of my children attending an ABC centre 4 days a week. I am paying $270 per week after CCR and CCB.

For my 4 yr old I paid $77 per day. This include meals. The ABC down the road that offered no food was $75 per day.

Work it out on $70 per day per child. Contact c-link and find out your CCB or look at the online calculator. If you meet the work-study-training thing you'll also get the 50% rebate. Best bet is to contact them and ask though, everyone is entitled to different amounts.

Each one is different, the ones I have worked at charge anywhere from 60/day to 130/day for one child at the full rate. Some offer family discounts or discounts for full time, others do not. Some provide nappies and food, others do not.

When you take into account CCR which is 50% and then CCB which is means tested so variable, you will only pay $35 per child per day max. So quite a bit less than a days wage.
And now with automatic CCR claiming you dont have to wait for the rebate, the CCC charges you the half and claims the other half from CL

Mine was $45 per day per child, which is including CCR and CCB. This works out to be 900 a fortnight- my whole pay.

You're telling me! Considering they went to another abc centre previously and $290 a fortnight it me in credit with one DD going full time and the other going 2-3 days a week! It's a shame too because dd1 loves going and asks me every day if she can go :( we just can't afford it at this centre.

I have one in abc and in a couple of weeks will be 2 of them... It is $70 a day each then your discount ( based on you and your partners income) then half back from that which you can choose to get deducted from your fees. So I pay $25 per child per day

Wow lil miss that's ridiculous! So full price before CCR and CCB was in excess of $90 per day!
I am in Adelaide and CC is a lot cheaper here.

Yep. I've heard of places (my aunty sent my cousin to one) that charge in excess of $120 a day for ONE child. We will be screwed even more now as my partners income has increased significantly and we more then likely won't be eligible for CCB or CCR.

I don't think CCR is means tested, so you'll get half back regardless.

CCR isn't means tested. Everyone is entitled.
But still you only get it AFTER you're out of pocket and some people can't afford it.
The Centre I've started working at and my daughter is attending is $69.50 per day with meals & nappies included. The big bonus for me is because I have my advanced diploma on top of Ccb I get 50% discount for being a highly qualified staff member. and CCr. I'm VERY lucky.

I couldn't remember which was which with CCR AND CCB which is why I said 'or'. Anywho as a PP said I am still out of pocket.

Yes, I was giving the full rate, but many people get CCB and all workers get CCR.

I have 2 kids in care 2 days a week and I pay $170 out of my pocket and only get back ccr every 3 months! It's all depends on your wage & your partner wage how much u will pay!

i wont be earning much. Ill only be doing part time so 3/4 days a week. i *think* ill be getting around $350 a week. So if its going to be more or close to that i dont think it would be worth it. With the cost of everything else.
