Hi Everyone,
Am new to the forums, and not even sure if I'm posting in the right spot?!..
So I'm 11 days late, with two positive home pregnancy tests! Have made a doctors appointment for tomorrow and I am absolutely freaking out! I've wanted this for a while but never thought it would actually happen, and its taken this for me to realise how much, I don't know what I'm doing!! I'm unsure if I should even be happy at this stage since I haven't been to the doctors and had it confirmed? I'm very hopeful obviously! Just very confused! If anybody has ANY advice at all, or able to share how they felt when they were at this point, it would help me out alot!
Thanks!!

Congratulations and welcome to the forums :celebrate:

I completely understand what you are feeling right now...I was so overwhelmed when I first got my positive pregnancy test. Even when you're trying for a baby, it's still such a shock to see those two pink lines!

Best advice I can give you is to relax and try not to stress.

When you see your GP they will probably order some blood tests to test your HCG levels. Of course you can be happy at this stage...two positive home tests sound very positive to me!

Have you started your prenatal vitamins? If not, I'd start at least taking folic acid. Also up the foods you eat which contain iron as your body will use a lot during pregnancy.

Have a look at the forum as there are 'Due in' Groups where you can chat with other mums to be who are due in the same month as you. I've found my group to be the best support I could have ever hoped for.

Again, congratulations!

Thankyou!!
And thankyou for the replies!
Its definitely reassuring to know that what I'm feeling is "normal"
I'm still trying to get my head around the positive home pregnancy tests! Here I am freaking out whilst the partner is super excited already looking up racing car beds! Haha

Be happy ... and congratulations!!

2 positive pregnancy tests is a pretty reliable indication that you're pregnant. :smiliedance:
