Hello, Just wondering what your little one is up to at this age. My DD has really just discovered her voice and spends a lot of time cooing and babbling to herself. She is starting to reach for her toys and put things in her mouth. She is trying hard to roll will get up on her side. I am hoping she will giggle soon but she is a very serious young lady. Has only really started giving heaps of smiles. She smiled at 9 weeks but she is 3 weeks corrected. My son at 3 months was giggling. Even though she smiled at 9 it was very random only in about the last 3 weeks she smiles all the time and is very content. Whats your little one up too?

Hi there, my little bub has also found his voice but it's more squealing in delight at everything! He also goes to sleep squealing but in a happy way if ya know what I mean. This last week mastered rolling onto his belly then crying coz he couldn't get back, just today he has learnt to roll from his belly to back so now he is all over the place rolling everywhere. He smiles all the time but never giggles just kinda a laughing sigh. It's too cute.

Hi. My DD has also discovered her voice and is too squealing and babbling away. She is starting to laugh alot more now. But not lasting giggling but has a a full on belly laugh maybe once or twice.
She can roll from back to tummy, but get so upset as she can't roll back and is not a fan of tummy time.
She has started to grab at my food and drinks if I'm holding her.
Lovin her to bits!!

Yeah, my 4m old DD can really talk, and it's very squealy and high pitched at the moment. She can roll but mostly from tummy to back. Has done both but not consistently. She loves to take your fingers in her hands and pull herself up to sitting and then standing. Thinks that's very cool lol. Everything goes into her mouth, including her feet haha!

My DS is a really big talker too! He'll just sit their on his own and babble away. He's also just recently started bubbling at his mouth. So fun to watch. He's been rolling since 3 months but mainly back to tummy. I think he's quite the social butterfly because he seems to smile and laugh at everyone who speaks to him. He's also found the wonders of his feet and hands.

DD babbles a lot too. Cant roll yet but does like to pull herself up from lying down to sitting up then standing. And everything goes into her mouth too. Oh and like your bub OP... My DD only recently started smiling too. Has a bit of a giggle here and there but is pretty rare.

Hi,
My DD is a smiler and has been for months. She's also a social butterfly and will flash that smile to everyone she see's, whether they're looking at her or not!
She babbles a lot too and has started to giggle every now and then. She's not a fan of tummy time and although she has rolled a couple of times I think they were just flukes. She loves to push up to stand on our laps and has started to get grizzly if she's sitting on our laps for too long.
She's discovered her feet and grabs them every time I try to change her nappy, soon they'll be in her mouth!
Just had 4 month needles today so she's taking a nap and I'm hoping she won't be too grizzly.
How much fun are they at this age!

Hi I'm in Sydney, I had a baby boy in Feb who is almost 4 months old. It's so true, he is so much fun. He laughs, giggles, smiles and throws me the odd wink I am sure. Such a cheeky face! He's an IVF baby, btw, after 6 years of trying :). He doesn't roll over yet but some days looks like he might be about to. I did want to ask some advice on wrapping. He's like a small houdini who will try to wriggle out of anything, wants to get his arms out in particular, so I have started wrapping his lower half only and he seems happier, but will startle more easily; and I sometimes worry about the sleep safety thing. Does anyone have a similar experience? Thanks, and congrats to you all, Sue

hi all good to see what everyone bubs are doing that are around the same age. I am still waiting for my girl to roll :( and she is now 5 months. aargh. She is so close and gets right up on her side but then roles back on her back. She pull herself into a sit if you give her fingers to grib. Busy with big stories, I think she is focusing on growing tall and cutting teeth instead of rolling. I was hoping she would beat her brother but has no desire. he was a six months. A bit behind but he caught up and once he learnt something he continued with it. As for wrapping to much work once they start wriggling and yes i got to the point of finding her out of wraps and getting it up near her head. I don't think anything would have happend but it worried me. I have moved my daughter to a grow bag and easier with working out what to wear under them and they breath better. but i moved my dd from being wrapped to half wrapping as she wanted arms out and I tried the swaddles which are good but she would suck on it so I just moved into growbag. my dd loves her hands and quiet often just plays with her own hands and they seem to amuse her, who would have thought two things could be so interesting. So she was getting frustrated being wrapped now that she has been in a grow bag for a few weeks she is use to it. Apart from that with winter approaching her hands are freezing.

Sue. My DD was like that since birth. We ended ip using a wrap me up which was awesome and helped her sleep much better she was able to move around but not enough so the startle wasn't as bad. She is now in a gro bag with the hands folded over in her wondersuit. Hope that helps.

My DD is 3.5months and has rolled for the first time tonight - belly to back! She babbles quite a lot but hasn't quite mastered laughing yet, although we get plenty of happy squeals. Smiles all the time and studies her hands before putting them in her mouth. Loves tummy time for about 5 minutes, has just started lifting her head above her shoulders xx

My DD is 4 months on Friday and has just started rolling! Every time I put her down on her back on her play mat - there she goes!! :smiliedance:

She is also razzing heaps, laughing and putting EVERYTHING in her mouth. She has just come out of wonder week 19's fussy stage and the new skills are rolling and razzing. She is very chatty and will often wake up a nap and just have a chat to herself.

She naps 45mins around 5 times a day. Sometimes we get 1.5-2hr nap but not every day. Her night sleep has been terrible the last week or so - I'm thinking 4 month sleep regression? She wakes every day 2hrs AT LEAST :heywhat:

DD was 4mths yesterday

She too is a chatterbox, especially to her teddy. It's so cute. Everything goes into her mouth, we thought she may have been teething last week but now not so sure...think she just had a bad day as I can't see anything??

Sleep wise she is waking just once between 7pm & 6am (has been a good sleeper since birth) but day time :banghead::banghead: 45mins tops.

She's just started sitting by herself since the weekend, got the cutest pics of her yesterday out on the grass perched up thinking she's all that :D

Off for our 4mth jabs next week sometime. Not looking forward to it

My gorgeous son is nearly 4 months. He is talking a lot and makes the most beautiful sounds. His laugh makes me melt! He is really serious when we are shopping and also in unfamiliar places.

He's starting to roll...from his back to his tummy.

He gets frustrated after about four minutes when he plays with his toys which we are really mindful of and we change the activity as soon as he sows any signs of frustration. Like the othe babies above hes putting things in his mouth...

I love this age!
