Seeking friends on Brisbane's East/South

Hi.. I'm a full-time mum to a 9 and a half month very active baby boy who i'm sure believes he is 19 and a half sometimes! as a family we moved to brissy when bub was only 5wks old and I feel like i've only just now managed to recover from the big move, new baby, new house, everything happening at once syndrome!!! I'd love to meet up with any other mums or dads 25ish to 40ish with bubs of a similar age for a chat, laugh and whinge!? (both parents and babies!) I'm hoping to return to teaching one day but for now i'm loving being a mum but would love some adult company.. can anyone relate to this??? I can totally relate to where you're at . We moved to Brissy when my dd was 6 days old! New house, new state, new parent aagh. She's now 7 months and we're finally settling in. I live in Annerley but go across to Aspley to meet up with the Mums there.

I'd love to meet up with you some time my husband and I are pretty easy going - both 29 though I'm about to turn 30 ;) It's pretty hectic coming up to Christmas as my my husband will be away for 2 weeks from Sunday but it will be great to chat in the mean time.

Wow.. that's great that you drive all the way to Aspley to meet up with other mums, I have an old friend who lives in Strathpine and I try to make the long haul to see her as often as I can but the distance does seem to make it a HUGE day out! I am new in Brisbane as well. Likewise , I also shares your thoughts on this one. We moved to Melbourne at first when I was 26weeks preg. And then my dad who was visiting me, fell ill (Stroke) soon after i gv birth 2 weeks later. All those hiccups.

Anyway, I am in Camp Hill. Next to your surburb?

Let me know when you fancy to meet up. My lil gal is 17mths , is it ok with you since you were looking around mums with bubs of similar age to yours?
