I have a four yr old boy and i started toilet training him on and off between 2 1/2 and 3. He was nearly toilet trained late last year (when i was pregnant but i was hospitalised in perth, i live in albany wa so we had to stay with family). Because he was away from home and then the new baby he partially relapsed.
He turn 4 in August and is still not fully there. i am worried as he starts kindi next year and i want him toilet trained as i am worried they may not accept him otherwise.
I have tried everything, jocks, pull ups, potty, toilet seat and now the toilet seat with ladder. He is pretty good but he chucks a tantrum if i tell him to go to the toilet. Most of the time he takes him self and only has the odd accident, but poohs he wont do and that is the accident i dislike as he wears jocks. If i put pull ups on him he wees in aswell then.
I haven't started night training yet. I would love it if anyone had advice or just to let me know i am not the only one with a boy that is late at toilet training.
