We're trying to move DS into his cot as he has now been co-sleeping with us for 5 months. But I can't see it happening and it's starting to really stress me. He was a great sleeper from 6 weeks up until recently he's begun waking 2 times through the night fir a feed. Several times for his dummy. I don't know how we are going to do it, I just got the book save our sleep by tizzie hall and I am hope that will give me some pointers but I've not got through much of the book and already I'm worried it says we should have him in bed by 7 by 5 months but we have so much going on in the next couple of weeks we won't be able to do that. I don't know what I'm going to do I'm trying not to be stressed about it because I don't want DS to stress about it. But DH is getting very insistent that he sleep in his cot soon. I don't know what to do I feel like I am loosing it.

Have you thought about setting your cot up as a side car to the main bed? Basically you take one side off the cot and set it up right next to your bed, so you can comfort baby while you are lying down but they have their own sleep surface. It is a good way to move from bedsharing to baby in their own bed.

'tHE no cry sleep solution' might be a better book to read, it is much less prescriptive and has ideas for moving from bedsharing/cosleeping to seperate beds.
