Just wanting to share a few of my little ones clever moments of the past week or so and get you all to share some proud toddler parent moments too. As a first time mumma i am amazed at how quickly their independence grows.

A few days ago mr V picked up a face washer outside that he had played with ages ago and proceeded to try and wipe the glass back door with it. Honestly it was dirty and I dont clean it very often and I dont even know if he saw me last time I did so not sure where he learnt that one.

On Tuesday night last week immediately after tea he climbed onto my couch and grabbed my doona that was there and snuggled into a cushion and told me BED mum Dum Nums.

And then this morning he was rustling about in his room before I went in there. He tells me poos and thats when I see the packet of wipes on the floor outside his safety gate. I go in to get a nappy and realize that he had actually gotten the wipes packet out of the three pack it was bought in. We used the last of packet one last evening.

So clever and im so proud at 18 months on monday..

Mr 15 months walked most of the way to the park and back yesterday. He was carried some of the way but did most of it on his own. It was a slooow journey though.

19month DD this morning runs up to me, throws her arms around me and goes "cuggle!" she normally only is excited to give daddy cuddles so it was so cute.
The other night when getting her ready for bed my hair was falling over my eyes and she lovingly reached up and moved it away from my face. Aww How sweet I thought, but then she pinched my nose and goes "beeep!" so she was only moving my hair to attack me...

Last week we were near a large fountain in the city. My 14 month old son wanted to get into the fountain. He turned around and tried to get in using his 'safe entry ' that he has been learning at hon swimming lessons :smiliedance: I was so proud.
