Does anyone know when Baby Beehinds had print nappies? How long ago was it? Were they any good etc?

18 months to 2.5 years ago, about the same time I bought all my nappies for DS. I didn't buy any, however, my recollection of them is that all the BB nappies had a fabulous reputation back then (I bought based on reputation). I don't think the print versions were supposed to be quite as absorbent as the hemp versions though. Same design as all her other nappies at the time, which has changed a little bit since then, but my nappies from then still fit well.

Did you watch the seller who listed hundreds of dollars worth of nappies and materials who has decided "cloth was not for her"?
There's another good reason to trial before stocking right up! Although they've all been going really well.

I did see that - I was keeping an eye on the hemp but that went overpriced I thought;)

I thought that too on some of the items I was looking at- might as well go buy them brand new by the time the postage was included.

Hug a Bubs are a bit the same- the price some go for, you might as well buy a brand new one in the colour/pattern you want!

I have noticed that with the hug-a-bubs too;) There was one that was 3rd hand and had a small hole in it and went for almost new price:confused:

I understand that cos the lion nappy would tempt me...
Its all about supply and demand. The more rare I understnad
Don't get it if they were the plain hemp that you can get from the BB site.
Its like the ipods going above RRP.

I've just checked and the prices are absurd. Dammit, I was hoping for a bargain... It just depends on what's 'it' at the moment. Right now it is hugabub's and modern cloth.
But the shoe will be on the other foot soon enough, and one day I assume we'll all be the sellers! Our kids won't wear nappies forever!

The other thing is the woman like I spoke of before, bought heaps of nappies, covers and material then decided cloth wasn't for her- just pray there's heaps of women like that!
