hey guys, 4 weeks ago today i had my implanon removed. still no period, had unprotected sex 4 days later, wee tests have all come back neg have to get a blood test, i was just wondering what everyones signs and symptoms are when they first got pregnant? and how long they took to show? coz atm i have pretty tender boobies, and extremely tired, but im not getting my hopes up bout the blood test, so what happened to everyone and how did you find out you were :) tell us your stories :)

I started getting tender/swollen breasts maybe 10-12 days after conception, took a test a couple of days later and it came up negative. Took another test about a week later (so about 3 weeks after conception) and it came up positive...started feeling nauseous & getting gas about 3 days later.

About week 5 I started to get the sore boobs, exhaustion, and mild nausea. Although a bit before that I was feeling different, and was having twinges now and then (which is hard to explain, but I did suspect long before I got any other symptoms or tested). I think I put off testing until I got more symptoms because we'd been trying for so long, and had so many other false alarms, and I didn't want to be disappointed again, thankfully I got a BFP :celebrate:

It does take a while for everything to return to normal after an implant or coming off the pill so take that into consideration too, good luck :)

thanks :) im not preg i just got my period, so ill be starting to try the moment it vanishes (i dont no when i ovulate and that way it will be more fun for the partner)

I started getting tired & exhausted rom early on, sore & tender boobs, I had nausea and when I was trying to cook tea it was the worst. My sweet tooth seemed to have totally disappeared.

It can take some time for your AF to get back to normal post most contraceptive removal or stopping. :fingerscrossed: you get the answer you want

I had a glass of very light alcohol wine, which was then watered down with soda water - 50/50 and I got tipsy!!! :laughing: :laughing: I usually don't get tipsy after about 10 of those wines, so I thought something was up!! This was 4 days before AF was due, so CD 24 or 10 dpo. I didn't test till 3 days later though and the BFP came straight up! (And just in case you're wondering, I've not had a drop of alcohol since :))
