Okay, here's the situation. Since he was born, Matthew has been sleeping in Brookes room and she has been sleeping in the same room as Jacob.
But the time has come when I need to get the boys in together and give Brooke her own room back. But the chances are that the 3 of them will be in together when the baby is born anyway. I want the baby in with Brooke.....she can sleep through a fire alarm, so a baby shouldn't be any different. But DH doesn't think it is fair on her, so he wants them in together.
Anyway, in the past when I have put the boys in together, Matthew will go to bed at 6:30 and Jacob at 8pm. Matthew will hear Jacob, no matter how quiet he is, and wakes up thinking it is play time. I try for an hour to get him to sleep, but it doesn't work. So I end up putting him back in Brookes room, waking her up and putting her back in with Jacob.
Does anyone know how I can make the change easier??
