Ive been doing some googles, and cant seem to find much at all.

Does anyone know of any good sites?

I needed to find a black wedding dress for a play I directed once. I ended up having to dye a white one black.
If'n I still had it, I'd give it to you, but that's not much use to you now is it? :)


You might have to end up dying it. Good Luck.

if u do a search for wedding dresses on ebay there are lots of overseas companies that make them to your measurements in whatever colour you like... heaps of styles to chose from and with postage cost under $200... dont think this means they arent the most equisite and well made dresses ever though, I've had an evening gown made from one and my sister and mum have had a few and they are BRILLIANT!

Depends what you are looking for really. It's not a very popular colour for a wedding dress. Don't know why!

umm not getting married in the near future, possibly very distant future..:laughing: But then again u never know ;)

You can find beautiful gowns, dresses that are not "wedding dresses" but are as stunning as one in most shops or maybe try a dress maker?

I , beleive it or not, had problems finding plain black bridesmaids dresses and MOB dress, so I had my designer do theirs as well.:fingerscrossed:

I think your best bet is to go and look for a black "formal" dress which are pretty much in line with wedding dresses.. or get one made so it can suit your needs perfectly.

Gallery Serpentine in Sydney could probably help you with something black. A corset style dress maybe.

MY sister actually wore a black wedding dress to her wedding!

Well it wasnt all black, it was ivory satin (big ball gown number) and over the top was black/silvery lace...it was devine and it was made by Sarah Devine LOL in Sydney.

It cost her a pretty penny but she looked absolutely stunning in it!

I have a ankle length black crushed velvet long sleeved dress which I wore for my Yr 11 ball nearly 13 years ago. Its all yours if you want it. It hardly got used after that.
