Weeman boys wee potty urinal, any good?

Hello,

I have just potty trained my DS1 and he loves his potty but won't use a toilet or wee outside. I am thinking about getting one of those urinal things that hang on the front of the toilet, the weeman, for him to learn how to go like a big boy.

How have people found them with their kids? They look quite shallow, do they splash back out?

I forgot to mention that he is 29 months and we started potty training about 6 weeks ago. We are currently at about one or two wet overnight nappy or accidents a week.

I don't really know about the weeman set ups, but my ds doesn't like the toilet either. Not sure how to get around it.

Have either of you tried the wee man yet?
have ordered ine and am waiting for it. We haven't started TT properly yet. DS wees in daycare toilet and sometimes for DH, but hasn't for me. He hates sitting on the toilet. Not sure whether to start with a potty or go straight to weeman

We bought one and I think we used it for all of three days. It was a pain to get on and off to wash after every wee, and just got in the way of anyone else trying to use the loo.

I had one and hated it, sorry. It didn't always flip over properly and would spill everywhere, blergh. I ended up taking it off and chucking it out as it was such a PITA. Instead I got a step so that DS could stand up and wee in the toilet.
