Hello!
i am having my first baby, and while I was only about 5 kilos overweight when I got preggers, I never had much in the way of boobs I was a 34A
Now I am happily wearing in my new 36C bras!!!! MY GOD
Now on each side of my boobs near where the strap runs down is what looks like eczema it's rough, not itchy and I am wondering if this is the beginning of stretch marks?
I have been putting oil on my skin everyday since I found out I was expecting and today bought some cocoa butter the one for stretch marks.
But what are the first signs?
I think my boobs will me massive by the end I am only 15 weeks now!

I unfortunately ended up with a ton of stretch marks! I had itchy skin a bit i think. I just woke up one morning & HELLO there they were!!! The next morning there were some more!! And on it goes! Just keep rubbing in your cocoa butter! I might help!

Yeah I was the same, they just decided to turn up and throw a party on my body! Keep your skin moisturised. I actually think some people are more prone to getting them than others.

I dont really remember the signs of getting them, i remember just seeing these red lines on my belly and my breasts. I do remember that they were a little bit itchy but i think that's happens because the skin is stretching. I dont think i had a rash before i got them, they just appeared as lines. If your concerned about anything during pg i recommend you talk to your doctor or midwives who have a better understanding of pg things.

Nice to see you on a different thread!
I am using bio-oil for my stretch marks. Got them with my first preg. and they quickly turned white and faded, but got red again with the second preg.
This time I am trying to prevent more - I'll let you know if the bio-oil works - I got it from the pharmacy. The skin is definitely itchy before the stretch marks appear. But if you can't prevent them it's not the end of the world. They do get better after bub comes out.
Good luck. :)

I have only had about 5 pimples in my entire life! All of a sudden i've broken out all over my chest and back! At least they're not on my face... i guess.
I have recently noticed on the underside of my boobs i'm getting really bad stretch marks! It's like someone's drawn on them with a thick purple texta!

I understand what your going through lol
BUT I have discovered something lol a while back I got the cartilage of my ears pierced and they gave me a antiseptic spray, now I took the earrings out as they were killling me but obviously had the spray so I had a brain wave and sprayed it onto my face and my chest like you have a few there and TA DA within 2 days they have nearly all gone!
So I recomend anteseptic spray from the chemist with the ear piercing stuff! it's like $5
poor you with the stretch marks...:(
Mine have gone nothing there at all now PHEW!

Bio oil is really good just massage in regulary.
I didn't get stretchmarks till the end of my first preg as i hadn't gained much but then i gained about with odema at the end and hello my tummy broke out overnight in stretchmarks. I used bio oil to prevent any more second time round and i don't think i got anymore if not none. :o

Before I was pregnant I used Palmers cocoa butter for stretch marks, but guess what? I still got the stretch marks. They're mainly around my lower tummy. One morning I woke up and there they were red and itchy  I now use Bio-Oil to prevent more coming out and to help these ones I already have go away :(
Luckily (fingers cross) I don't have them around my boobs, I was a size 10C and now I'm a size 12D, and I'm only 24 weeks pregnant! :o

Hi,
I am 30 weeks pregnant and I have some faint one on my breasts and some nice big red ones on my hips and just started getting a few on my tummy, you can rub cream in until the cows come home but if you are going to get stretch marks you will get them unfortunately.

I have studied nutrition and stretch marks can be prevented by ensuring that you supplement adequately with zinc and vitamin C with bioflavnoids. Zinc is an essential nutrient in the formation of collagen wihc is a componant of all connective tissue. If you are zinc deficient it has also be shown that you have more chance of an episiotomy since your perinuem is less likely to stretch as your bub is born and cracked nipples are something else you can expenct when zinc deficient.
Other important nutrients are fatty acids, found in deep-sea fish, evening primrose and flaxseed oil. Vitamin E and silica also have a positive effect on skin conditions.
Unless your skin is nourished from the inside, ointments and creams may not have much of an effect, but together with the right diet, you can try rubbing your boobs and tummy with oils such as extravirgin olive, vitamin E, jojoba, avocado, sweet almond or sesame, with lanolin or with Comfrey, St John's Wort and Calendula ointments.

To my horror i have found faint stretch marks in a little patch under my belly button! It looks like someone's thrown mince on me!!!
I'm not impressed! I guess if you're going to get them you're going to get them!
