Author and illustrator Josh Langley has created a delicious combination of cartoons and messages that embrace all aspects of life...the ordinary, the absurd and the wonderful. Quirky and inspirational, it helps us celebrate
all that is supposedly wrong with us.
Look out for Josh - he's just become a bubhub blogger!!! You can find out more about the book on Josh's blog and I'm sure Josh would love comments and discussion there! http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/entry.php?352-Be-Happy-Your-Way!
Big Sky Publishing have got some other great books too. They are offering Bubhubbers free postage on all purchases from their website before Mother's Day. Check out the New Age Nana's Book which would make a great Mother's Day gift for Nana! http://www.bigskypublishing.com.au/Books/Family/New-Age-Nanas/927/productview.aspx
OK, so back to the competition. How can you win? Post in here and let us know about the funniest things that you kids have said or done that have made you laugh (and will hopefully give us all a good giggle too).
I'll pick a winner from all the posts made by midday (Brissie time) next Thursday, 12 April.
Good luck! And welcome onboard Josh as a bubhub blogger!
Sorry - that should say, I'll pick 5 winners next Thursday.
Oh, and funny photos are acceptable too :)

My three year old makes me laugh often. He is a true example of unconventional happiness. Last night he said "I love our Volvo, these sprouts are delicious" and then went and pulled out an anatomy and physiology textbook to read. He really does love the Volvo, he told me "Chuck that big BMW in the bin, pfft yuck, I love this old Volvo."
DS1 is almost 4. He comes up with some funny things. This morning it was while i was trying to wake him up. He says most mornings "let me just have a little sleep in". Or "Im just going to lie down a little bit longer" and sometimes "Mummy, i just need to have a little rest"
My dd is only 14 months old though does have a few words she can say the newest one is how she gets daddy's attention
"daddy, daddy, Daniel!" clear as anything!!
We can't help but laugh!
My Ds is 3. I explained how theres a baby in my tummy. He got upset and asked why i ate the baby! Because he wanted to play with him. he then asked why i didnt share because he was hungry too!!
I had no idea how to explain i didnt eat the baby.

Hilarious yes?? It was not funny having to clean him up. And my bed sheets. And pillows. And his pillow. And his toys. And everything else he touched lol :)
Many years ago, I was at a friends place with her three kids.. One of the girls was about 5 at time, and she looked at me and said...
"Oh wow, you could probably win the biggest loser!"
Yes, I was carrying a bit of extra weight, but should I be happy that she thinks I could win?? I'm not quite sure...

I was packing up the car with the stroller and nappy bag for my youngest daughter the other day and when I stepped back in the door my 3year old daughter was holding her little sister walking towards me with her in her arms and she said "Mum, you forgot it" then passed me her little sister.

Miss 6 broke her arm last week and had to have surgery. When she came out of surgery she was very very upset and crying so we kept asking her what was wrong. She had us in fits of laughter when she told us she was upset cause she was starving but going to sleep had make us feel sick so she was angry at her tummy for being sick so she couldnt eat since she was starving. the nurses said it was the best answer they had ever had :) She said it with a straight face and looked so upset. Not funny for her but funny for everyone else in the room.

DD1 at nearly 3yo.
We were driving to daycare and there was a fly buzzing around the car, so her father wound the window down a couple of inches and it flew out. Then little DD1 piped up from the back seat "Dad gave it the opportunity to exit the vehicle." I was blown away, kids dont talk like that. And this was the same kid that would object to us winding down the windows in the car by screaming, "No windy! No windy!"

We picked up a new felt creations set at Aldi today, with musicians and musical instruments. She was talking about mixing at matching with the other felt creations sets, her father suggested "You could give a knight a guitar, or you could give a musician a sword." She looks intently at the new set and complains in much distress, "I cannot find the musician! I can only see a guy with a guitar."

I was showing DSD coins from England with the pictures of the queen (new and old) as well as a coin with the old king on it. When explaining how the king or queen gets replaced when one dies, she said "well how are we going to kill her?"
Just a couple of days before we select the winner ...

I was in a shop the other day, my 4yo had just had her needles and I was buying her a little gift... After she picked out what she wanted I queued up to pay. She then says to me "mum, I have a wedgie" I whisper "just pick it out" to which she yells "NO, I WANT YOU TO PICK MY WEDGIE!" I ignored her, quite embarrassed. She then started to chant "wedgie, wedgie, wedgie" until we had paid and left the shop !

This may be more 'cute' than 'funny', but when my country born and bred nephew went for his first holiday to the beach and he saw the ocean for the first time, his comment was, "Wow, that's a big dam". He is now 10 and the family still gets a good laugh about it.
A friend of mine has a toddler and a newborn. The newborn was unsettled and was crying. The toddler had obviously been listening to her parents and what they had been saying to her during her own unsettled periods. She turned to the newborn and said "Stop crying and being silly, use your words and tell me what's wrong!" Out of the mouths of parrots...I mean babes!

So many sotries to tell.
On sunday after being all hyped up from the easter bunny delieveries, he got in trouble for not listening. He told me he wasnt going to be my mum anymore and he needs to talk to nana. Got mum to call and ge dobbed on me for turning off the tv as he wasnt listening.
In the end i got in trouble for turning the tv off from mum and he said he would be my mum only if i turn on the tv again.
Gotta love 4yr olds.

My nephew is so precious, just started grade 1. Before he started school mum would say to him "ur cute izzcherry" and his reply "I know mummy" and when he was in trouble he would say "but mummy, I'm cute!!!!" even whilst crying, but now as a big boy, mummy says "ur cute izzcherry" and his reply "I know mummy but please don't say it at school" and when he is acting up, his mummy threatens to call him cute at school and he stops right away!!! Lol

...DS2 squeezed DP's chin between his fingers so that the cleft was quite pronounced and shouted at the top of his voice, "WHY HAVE YOU GOT GIRLY BITS ON YOUR CHIN DAD!!??"
