Recently I have noticed my 11 month old has taken a great interest into grinding her teeth. When i say "no grinding teeth mary" and show her what that means she will stop but th en later in the day or the next day she is at it again.
She has 4 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth and the noise its like, shuddering :banghead:
Are there any ways of avoiding it? I do give her other things to chew on, and while we are at it in terms of teeth, she has discovered the joys of biting people!and it HURTS!
Any suggestions would be great thanks

Arghhhh *shudders* My brother use to grind his teeth in his sleep. I can't stand it! :banghead:
Unfortuantly there is nothing you can do. She isn't at age to understand why she shouldn't do it. There could be more teethie pegs coming through so thats probably why she's doing it.

Thats what im thinking so i also add cold damp flannels in her chewing mixture of things (on top of the little toys and frozen veggies she munches on for her teeth) to maybe help "relieve" her gums and teeth. But the biting, youd love this, she got DP on his nipple  (naughty, but funny)

Yanno you can get those mesh pouch things that you put food/ice/frozen anything in for Mary to hold. I'll find a link so you know what im talking about.

 Summer has just started doing this & she is 18 months. The sound is SO annoying isn't it. I wonder how they get it to be so loud, we could be in another room as her & still hear her grinding her teeth

I found this Heather Click (http://search.ebay.com/munchkin-feeder_W0QQfkrZ1QQfnuZ1QQfromZR8) only problem is it's U.S. I can't find a site anywhere within Aust that sells them.
Actually come to think of it.. i think i saw them in a catalogue. Heh, just shows how bad my memory really is. Now.. which catalogue was it :detective: :o

Solution to baby grinding her teeth is to use super glue, works a treat on my little boy.
As for biting, the best way to stop them doing that is to coat your arm in aerogaurd, as it's design to keep away bitting pests :) LOL

Is this what you were thinking of? http://www.tommeetippee.com.au/p-feeding.asp?pk=1
Click on 'Bowls & cutlery', then scroll down the page. It's called the Fresh Food Feeder.
I've seen them in Target, Big W, Woolies and chemists :) About $6 I think.
