View Full Version : 30th Birthday Invites??
Hi Ladies,
Just going to pick your brains if i can...
My husband is having a 30th birthday party in Dec and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to any unusual invites??
I was going to get Stubby holders printed as the invite but it was going to be way too expensive , so does anyone have any ideas of any unique invites they have seen?
preferably not the paper fold out ones, something different??
Thanks for your help....
Jiminy

Depending on how many people you are wanting to invite you can get stubby holders for $2.60 each approx. But thats for 100+ Ummm you could get magnets. Check out www.juststickit.com.au (http://www.juststickit.com.au)
You could make them like admission tickets, or even just cut the card to be shaped like a stubby. Or you ould make them like swing tags. Do you have to post them? If you don't you could keep old beer bottles, wash them out, take the label off. Then write or print invitation on plain paper with ripped edges and roll up and put in bottle, finish with a cork. Unique, would definately stand out. Or you could use a sticky label(ones you can print on) to create a new label for the bottle with the details of the party then have an rsvp note inside for them to fill out.
If I think of anything else I will post it for you.:)
Brewtopia! http://www.brewtopia.com.au/
$50 for a case of customised beers with customised labels.

My sister just made fantastic invites for my daughter's first birthday party...
She used a photo of Isabelle she had on her computer, and with the help of photoshop she added the rext to the photo, I got them printed at my local photo shop, and they look fantastic. Great keepsake as well, as it is perfect size to fit in an album!

A girlfriend of mine did this for her DH's 30th. She used a really cute photo of him when he was about 3, complete with sandles with socks underneath!! It was a real hit!
