Hi there!!
I need help I'm three days out from my EDD and have this awful anxious feeling  as I have suddenly gone off the names we have chosen for our bub.
We only have one name chosen for a boy with the two alternatives for a second name and the two names for a girl, besides these names we are completely stumped. We called our first baby Ethan and I want something that compliments his name. I don't know if it is the fact that I have gone off the names or just feel like I haven't put in as much time and effort as I did with choosing Ethan's name. I have looked I just don't seem to fall in love with any name that pops out at me.
I would love to hear your thoughts or any new suggestions as I am starting to panick now....
Brodie Jack
Brodie James
Halle Jade
Summer Jade
Thanks
Sharn :)

hey, it happens i think. i love the way your've spelt the boys name, (first one). i can't really help with the girls name as I think i've gone off the one we've picked. we are sticking with the boys name though, Dylan Brock............... my DBF picked it and left the girls name to me. i have picked Tahlia Shea..............but i think it might change again. why not wait to see what bub looks like. one name might suit them better than the other. hope things go well for you in the next few day great labour vibes sent your way.

I really like the name Brodie and its sounds great with Brodie James. I also love the sound of Summer Jade. Thats gorgeous!
There's some people who haven't named their baby up to 2 weeks after its born! Don't worry, you can take your time :)

I'll put a vote in for Brodie James. I really like that. And I think Summer would be my pick out of the girl's names.
I only have boys but the names I had picked for a girl were Emily-Rose or Holly.
Whatever name you pick you'll come to love it just as much as your child.
Good luck to you
Like the others have said, you can take your time after bub is born to name them.
But that said, I love Brodie James and Halle Jade. I wanted Halle with my DD but DF didn't want it.
Good luck with whatever you decide! :D
I agree with mim,Halle Jade is a beautiful name, and Brodie James is a great name for a boy. :)

I like Brodie James for a boy and Halle Jade for a girl! :D
trust me to be different!
I like Brodie Jack
and Summer Jade
There's no rush :) They don't come when they're called for about 3 years so you could wait a bit longer ;) LOL. I bet as soon as you meet your precious bub that their name will be really obvious. A friend of mine planned all along to call her daughter Amelia and the moment she popped out my friend said, "Hello Claire!" and that's who she really was! I hope you have a lovely birth and beautiful first meeting!

When you see your baby for the first time, you will know what to call it. Something just takes over and suddenly it is very clear.
We had planned on calling our baby boy Aiden but I called him Owen after seeing him. :)
Goodluck with the birth. :)

Thanks guys I really appreciate your thoughts. I think you are right I will wait and see how we feel when we see our baby for the first time. I think its just the feeling of apprehension and anxiety that has freaked me out about our names. I just want to everything to be perfect and I'm sure it will be once its all over. I tell you what though this waiting game is torture. I'm due today and my phone keeps ringing with people wanting to know if I've gone into labour yet (reminding me that I haven't)... its exhausting.
Thanks again, I'll let you know what we decide on.
Sharn :D
Take the phone off the hook, Sharn and just relax. Tell people you'll let *them* know after the happy event!

Hi, love Brodie James :) dont worry to much about names just yet, a friend of mines brother and his wife didnt have a nmae for their 2nd bubs for nearly a mth after he was born! (they ended up calling him Ashton :)) I had my heart set on Noah when pregnant with coops, but when he was born he looked nothing like a Noah! good luck whatever you decide, how exciting, any day now you are going to meet the love of your life! :D
