What Church??

Hey my names Christy and i have a 7 week old son i havent gone to church for years but want to get my son Christened... I want to find a nice church with nice people to get him Christened and mabey start to attened...Has anyone got any suggestions??

Looking forward to hearing fromy you all....

Oh i live in Syd liverpool area but it doesnt have to be in my own backyard so to speak.....:)

Hi! :wave: I'm not from Sydney but I just wanted to wish you the best for your church-shopping venture! It's a really, really lovely thing you are doing and even better if you start to meet other young people/couples, get involved in activities/events and begin to feel at home in your chosen church. Even better if it has a good creche!! Giving your gorgeous son a church 'family' and allowing him to be involved in church activities is one of the best things, in my mind, that you can do for him (and for you).

I'd start by just noting when the services are at different churches (ie services for young people on Sunday nights, or others on Sunday mornng) and visiting them. I don't know what denomination you're familiar with- but it's not something that's really an issue for me. I was raised in a Uniting Church but now enjoy going to a Baptist one. Before that we were going to a Lutheran church and before that a non-denominational one. I just think of myself as a Christian no matter what church I'm going to. Anyway, good luck! ;) :D
