Hi everyone
AF started on Friday, first one since having my bubba boy 9 weeks ago.
It's much heavier than my AF used to be, and I'm now on day 5 and it's still very heavy (wearing super pads and changing every 1-2 hours). In fact it seems to be getting heavier each day.
My usual AF lasts 4-5 days, heavier on day one and 2 then only spotting til the end, so to have bleeding as heavy as this is very foreign to me!
I also normally get very bad menstrual cramps which I don't have at all at the moment.
I don't remember what it was like after DD almost 6 years ago, so just wondering if this is "normal"?
I had a bit of an issue with my postpartum bleeding where that it stopped at two weeks then a few days later I passed two MASSIVE clots (as in, mango sized :eek:), and the bleeding returned with a vengeance. I had to get an internal ultrasound done and there was a collection of blood trapped in a pocket where the uterine scarring is (I've had 2 c/s). Anyhoo the doc said if the bleeding didn't stop within a week I'd need to get it looked into further but it stopped a few days later so I left it at that. Not sure if any of this is relevant but thought it may be worth mentioning incase anyone has had a similar issue and has some insight.
