How to spli profits with (business) partners...?

Say I had a business idea to sell t-shirts, but wanted to involve my artistic friend and use her artwork/designs on my shirts. How would we split the profits? What is fair?

I think it depends on what the labour allocation is. Will you be making the shirts, or buying them? How will the designs be applied? Will you both be outlaying the same amount to begin with? Will you both have the same risk.
