too much pee * too little pee what's a girl to do?

Hi Girls....

I tested this morning and got a BFN - I used clearblue digital -

I was fed up with the test and didn't go back for a closer look at all, I didn't take it out of the reader to examine the lines:mad:

After reading info from peeonastick.com - I thought I'd have another look {when i tested with my son the lines have still lasted 10yrs later!!} so I thought it would be worth a try......because I am sure it's a false neg

anyhoo, there is a faint line.....very faint but there

:detective: maybe try doin another test??? i have no idea... cause the tests ive used have been accurate for me, ( i used a hospital one for emily and i bought a clear blue stick one for clare and they both worked fine... both with dark lines. ) hope this helps....:fingerscrossed:

Well LJ if you are reading your + result from the test stick in the digital test then I would advise you to ignore the result as those tests measure LH as well as HCG so they often come up positive because as you know we often have low levels of LH hormone in our system.

After experiencing a number of very dodgy tests and a couple of very very faint lines myself, I would recommend you test again in 1-2 days. I had a number of tests that just did not work at all - no control line no nothing :shame: . And when I finally did get a double line the second line wasnt really a line you could just see a bit of colour at the top and bottom but no line joining them. The next day with a new test I got 2 healthy lines :yes: . It sux a bit because they are so expensive. Made me cranky when they did not work.

Just wanted to say that when i test i always pee in a cup and test that way. Then i know i have done it correctly with enough pee on the stick but not too much! (u know how some r really specific bout that??)

Anyways i buy different brands all the time (just waitin for that positive!) This month im gona try Assurance Plus.

Sorry LJ but those digital tests are only ment to be read by what it says in the window, and you are ment to ignore the test lines on the stick, as what the instructions say, so it sounds like it def is a neg, i am sorry, you should test again in a few days tho GOODLUCK :fingerscrossed:

I know what it says, but how else does it anaylise the reading in the first place....through the lines

if it was just meant to be a 'read only' then it would have come in a complete stick - no clip on -

I have two lines, and other symptoms as well as I know in my heart that I am pregnant.

Lj if you read my last post I put a link with info about those tests and why you are not supposed to rely on the lines.
The digi tests pick up LH as well as HCG so that there may be 2 lines on the test even when there is no HCG present.
Please read my link as it will explain for you how the lines on the stick are interpreted, it's a bit complicated but I know its diff from a normal test.
They should really make it so that you can't remove the stick from the case as it causes alot of confusion for people.
