After buying three thousand different bottles for my DS, I have found an awesome one that I wanted to share...

It's a Tommee Tippee, and it also says Nuby (I'm guessing that's the 'teat' brand)

It's a tall bottle (also comes in a short one, with handles) and has no 'valve', so to speak, just a plastic teat that opens up three slits when the 'bite down' on it.

It's so good, and DS has drunk so much water, so it's worth it's weight in gold.

After trying those 'no spill' ones and 'spill' ones  , this gets two thumbs up!

yep used both of those loved them both...the one with a straw is called tommee tippee no-spill insulated bottle.
we don't used them that much anymore, got a $3 sports bottle with a windup spout from coles and it's awesome...cos after a while the non-spill started to leak and i gave up after the second one.

Ronan absolutley loved this bottle when younger- drank it empty many times a day... until he started chewing the spout/teat to peices! All of them! Argghh... :banghead: So while it's a great drink bottle, we are just using the sistema straw sippy-cups from coles that cos around $3 and they have done fine since.

i have to say i found the teat spout also perished quite quickly:thumbsdown: .

i have other cups that have lasted way longer. i like the take and toss brand cups. they are cheap enough to lose, but i have some that have lasted from my toddlles and still using with bubs who is 14mths. they are great:thumbsup: also *fairly* non spill- not if you shake them though

yepp they're great arent they! DD has one and it took me 9 months to find a sippy she would drink from and it was the first one, now she will drink from just about anything but it opened her up to the world of 'no bottles' lol
