For our first wedding anniversary we went to a gorgeous b+b in the gold coast hinterland for a few nights. It was absolutely fabulous and we cant wait to do it again!

Congratulations. :smiliedance: We celebrated our first wedding anniversary in august this year and took of dd (then 7 months) with us to the snow for a long weekend. As none of us had seen the snow it was fantastic.

Firstly, Congratulations and Happy Anniversary, also congrats on the arrival of your newest little one. As i can relate I know this will be a very hectic time at your house if it's anything like mine!
We just celebrated our wedding anniversay and were lucky enough that my mum came and babysat all 5 children for us (I have heaps of expressed bottles in the freezer - could go into business lol). As night times are the most unsettled time we decided to go out during the day. My husband took the day off and we went for a nice drive down the coast and had a beautiful seafood lunch together - just the two of us (what a rare experience - just to finish a meal without a baby in your arms was amazing). It was a truly wonderful day. We were gone all up for about 3 1/2 hours, it was so nice to feel human again. Even the next day my husband sent me an sms from work saying how much better and relaxed he felt and that it must have been the time just for us. It wasn't an overly expensive day but so enjoyable (although it felt so weird not having any children around particularly in the car). I had phoned the restaurant ahead and told them it was our anniversary and as lunch time isn't busy they gave us the best table in the house and had a beautiful floral display on the table and their service was fantastic!
Hope you have a great day whatever you decide to do.
For our one year anniversary we are spending the night at the same hotel we spent out wedding night in. ( the same room to be exact)
We have breakfast, lunch and dinner included, and gave us a good rate when they knew it was an anniversary.
I cant wait!:smiliedance:

We went out to dinner, which was lovely.
My hubby bought me a new coffee table and plans to buy me furniture every year, which is a nice tradition. (And easy for him)
I think its nice to do something similar each year.
