Mucas Plug

hi there. I have 10 days to go today! Over the last couple of days i have had a clear discharge in my undies gernerally when i wake up. This morning when i went to the toilet and wiped myself (sorry if TMI) i had a thicker clear discharge with a tinge of a yellowish/greenish colour in it. I wanted to know if this is normal. I am going to go up to maternity when my partner gets home from work in about half an hour just to get it checked out...but thought someone might have experienced the same thing??

Id get that checked out just to make sure it isnt the meconium (spp???). (bub doing poop in utero is what i am on about!)

I don't have any experience (my first baby is due in 18 days - not that I'm counting) but it sounds to me like something is happening with you. Definitely get it checked out - will be interesting to hear what you are told. Best of luck if this is it!! I"m hoping that mine will be overdue at this stage as we are still in the middle of chaotic renovations and I've just got a cold so want to get rid of that (and the dust) before the little one comes out. Hope everything is okay with you - you will have a tiny baby in your arms soon - how exciting!! Good luck!!

Hi there everything is ok! i went to the hospital and they monitored the baby and its happy and healthy. They said that it could be part of the mucas plug because i have also had clear discharge...however it also could be the cause from a mild case of thrush. So its all ok....i do advise everyone to call the maternity ward at your hospital if you are worried about something because it gives you peace of mind to know everything is ok! :D
