Ladies using Clomid.

Hi one and all, Im using clomid for the second time around. I have one bouncing boy and hoping with all fingers and toes crossed that we will be sucessful this time also.
My question may have been asked or answered previously but i ll ask anyway....
My Ob has put me on clomid 50mg to start.... CD2 to CD6, this was the case for my first pregnancy also and i have read several threads that seem like most of you all are starting CD5 around about. Just wanted to see if any others have been told CD2 toCD6,
I did ask him and he just said "thats the way i like to do it". I do trust him but it just seems odd...Am i the only one.............

Hi jtk'smum, I started on clomid today, I am also doing CD2 to CD6, so don't worry maybe some doctors do it different?

dont stress to much, this is also my 2nd cycle on clomid, my first cycle was on days 5-9 on 50mg, but this cycle i was days 2-6 on 100mg.
My FS also prefers to do 2-6 however my first appt with him happend to be on CD5 so we started the clomid then and there.

Hi JTK's mum.... I am also on my first cycle of Clomid for baby No 2. My Ob also like me to take it from CD2-CD6, apparently it is supposed to be most effective if taken on these days. So don't worry!

This cycle however, I started CD3 only because of some hormonal issues.

I too have heard it is more effective taken 2-6 but i had not heard many perscribed that way. It worked the first time so i shouldnt argue the point.
THANK GOD FOR CLOMID HEY!!!!, i just wish things could happen naturally you know.
