Dream baby swing closed baby gate with extension

In short I love the flexibility of this gate. I have used it in nearly all the door ways in our house including the sliding door to our backyard which is wider than a standard doorway so with the extension really came in to it's own,

Pros:
Easy to set up
Double latched so tricky for toddlers to figure out
Looks good
Door swings both ways and self closes
There is a gap between the gate and latch before you install the gate which closes up as you tighten the pressure mounts so to ensure correct instillation

Cons:
The pressure mounts just sit in the gate with a threaded washer to tighten, personally I would prefer the gate to have a threaded hole then the washer just so that the mounts don't fall out when moving the gate

But all in all that's only a minor inconvenience and doesn't affect the gate when it's in use

So all in all I love this gate and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy to use, highly versatile gate

Dreambaby Swing Gate

Oh how I love you :)

So easy to install it only took 10minutes and no help from DH required. DS has put it to the rattle and shake test quiet well and it hasn't budged an inch (I have not screwed it to the door frame), we have another gate in the house that he has just about figured out but with this one he's not even close to working it out.

Pros:
* have to lift the gate door as well as using a latch for added safety
* no areas where little fingers can get caught when opening and closing
* easy to install
* durable
* easy to read instructions and detailed pictures
* self closing

Cons:
* to be honest I can't seem to find anything I don't like about the product, when I finished installing it I gave it a good rattle and pull, I could see there appeared to be a bit of movement where the extension piece fitted in and was a bit concerned of how it would go however now seeing what DS does to it I am somewhat impressed with the strength of the gate especially at the join.

Well done Dreambaby, I can't wait till I can get the extra large extensions to close off my 3m area.

Dream Baby Gate

The first thing i noticed when i opened the box was how heavy the gate was, it felt better quality than another gate we tried. It was very easy to install, it was done in under 15 minutes.

I have it at the top of my back stairs and was a bit worried about using a swinging gate with the chance it could fail. But this hasn't even crossed my mine with the Dream Baby gate. It feels safe and secure and very sturdy even when our daughter gives it a good shake!

I love the versatility of being able to buy a selection of extensions for the gate to block of larger area's

Pros

*Easy to install and comes with DVD
*Sturdy
*Easy to latch
*Swings closed automatically

I am very happy with this gate and yet to find any cons.

Overall a great product!

if this item still needs testing i have the perfect place to try it to its limit. My 13 month old keeps bringing down the wooden one we have and escaping out of his room. Don't know how he keeps doing it!! killing the architrave too :freakingout:
