I have a soon 2b 10yr old DS, 19month old g/b twins and a nearly 4month old DD
I do NOT know or presume to know what its like to have triplet or quads.
DS1 was a singleton until he was 8 so I do have a rough idea what its like just to have the one. NB: I only said ROUGH idea.
Why is that people who may have lots of kids or a few think they can 'empathise' or 'comment' on what its like to have multiples?
2 close together is not like twins, I dont presume that because my DD2 is close in age to my twins, that I have triplets.
Why is a comparison at all? Its not a competition!

 Hiya!

I'm not a multiple mumma so I hope you don't mind me butting in here, but just wanted to say- I would never ever tell someone I knew how they felt having twins/triplets/quads (etc) even if I had two close together, because its NOT the same!! I can't believe someone would say that... I mean REALLY!!!

I think all you mumma who have multiples deserve a big hand and I think you're doing a fantastic job!!! :yelclap:

I have one beautiful DD and when she was born my respect for mums of multiples just sky-rocketed!! I can't even imagine how much more difficult it would make it having two or three little ones hungry at the same time, tired at the same time etc. And still having to get to know eachother at the same time!!

Congratulations to you mummas- you guys ROCK!!!

I too would like to add my sincerest respect to all parents of multiples. I CANNOT imagine what it must be like, how hard everything must be to juggle. You guys must be very special people to cope - I just don't know how you all do it.

My close friends gave birth to twin baby girls a couple of months ago. It was a wonderful and blessed event, and I am so proud of them both for the way they are handling their new life. They are first time parents - what a culture shock it must be! I'm still getting over the shock of it all, and I only have one bub!

So all my respect goes out to all of you - what amazing, special people you are.
