Hi there,
I was just wondering if anyone had had any experience with Dr Molloy in Brisbane?
He was our Gynaecologist through our IVF procedures and then it just became a natural progression to keep him on as our Obstetrician.
I would be really interested in hearing any feedback from former patients :)

My sister used Dr Molloy for both of her pregnancies and is very happy with him. She had two emergency C/S and he handled them very well - she has two beautiful little ones to show for it.
I don't have any advice personally of Dr Molly - I went with Dr David Hill who I found absolutely excellent. He was always contactable, had a great bedside manner and sense of humour and I cannot recommend him enough.
I hope this helps and good luck with the twins !
:)

Hi there rynosmum,
Thanks very much for your response :)
It's comforting to get that type of feedback. When I compare notes with other pregnant friends, Dr Molloy does this abit differently than their Obstetricians, but I guess that's not really a bad thing.
I was also glad to hear of his expertise with your sister's Ceasarean as I am having one also.
Thanks very much for the feedback!! :)

I too personally don't know Dr Molloy but know a few people who have been with him over the last few years and have heard nothing but good about him. I use Dr Glenda McLaren and have found her to be wonderful so far, (this is my first pregnancy so I had no idea what to expect really), but from what I have heard, you will have nothing at all to worry about with Dr Molloy. I understand he is very popular and hard to get into to so I always say that's a great sign!
Good luck - and congratulations on the twins!!
Cheers!

I used Dr Molloy for our medical intervention last year. We had one round of IUI and then some follow up tests. Not successful, but that's just the way life goes, no guarantees with IUI anyhow.
Managed to fall naturally in March, then had m/c in May.
Anyway back to the original Q, Dr Molloy is wonderful, he has the most magnificent 'bedside' manner and makes you feel completely at ease. As soon as you walk in it's all about you and as far as he's concerned you're his only patient at the time.
We're not going back to Dr Molloy this time around but only because of financial reasons, no other. We've decided that we'll try again naturally for a while, then perhaps see what happens down the track.

Hi there Sueliz and Shelly68,
Thank you so much for your replies!! I can't tell you how comforting it is to hear of other people's experience with Dr Molloy.
Part of me was abit worried about using him (just because of the differences between my experiences and that of others that I know), but you've put my mind at ease fully.
Again, thank you so much!! :)

Hi there Shelly68,
I just wanted to wish you all the luck in the world TTC. I know how frustrating IUI and IVF can be and that if you can succeed naturally, all the better for you!!
My fingers are crossed for you :)

Thanks for your thoughts, you know each and every month I think I'm pg but it's only the stupid AF symptoms.
So now I'm very blase (sp?) about it all, oh look, there's AF again, lol!!!!!
All the best if you go with Dr Molloy, I thought he was excellent.
pssst, am thinking of going back to see him, we're not getting any younger in this household.

Hi there Shelly68,
I know what you mean. Every month was like a roller coaster for us as well.
Good luck if you decide to go back to Doctor Molloy. Have you just done IUI? Has he spoken to you about IVF or ICSI?
I did IUI about 3-4 times but was unsuccessful. It was then determined that ICSI was the way to go for us. I didn't find the process that bad, the only bad stage was when I got OHSS but that ended up being the successful cycle so that was definately worth it.
I have my fingers crossed for you, whichever way you decide to go :)
