So long as shes still gaining thats a good thing :) If you're worried take her back to her paed. Zach was 10.1kg at 2 years and now at 4 is 13.5kg so hes quite small for his age.
They all grow differently though and some are going to be small from the start and when given an early starter they jsut end up even smaller :D
Does she eat/drink okay? If she does and shes wetting nappies and all that stuff then don't be too concerned. I too still worry about zachs size especially as hes been losing weight lately but I realise now that hes just going to be a small boy and even born at term i think he would have been. Born at 31 weeks he was 2lb 12 :)
i wouldnt be worried at all. if you see your paediatrician regularly and all is well there then id ignore a doc who has a 'once off' view of her. my daughter was born at 39weeks weighing 3.3kg perfect size and all and at 11months she's only 7.9kg and 69cm and the health nurse is stressing but my doc who sees her at checkups and when im in there knows she's fine.

Doctors have a way of making us feel bad i tell you.
Blair is now almost 12months old 9 month corrected and he is seen by a paed every 3 months and gp and health nurse and they all seem to say different things. if the paed is happy you be happy. Blair was born 978g
and he is now 7.3kg. we have been through it all don't stress.
Cheers sheridan
She sounds fine to me just little, so long as she is eating & happy there is not much you can do for her weight gain.
My friends twins where born at 38weeks at 6lb13 & 7lb1 & they are now 10.5mths & about 6.7kg & they eat like horses.

Hi blaykendtahneemum,
If she is happy, and eats and drinks ok, I wouldn't worry.
Our DS is 15 months (13 1/2 corrected) and he is only 9.5 kgs. He was only 1.6kgs at birth, so he will always be on the smaller side, but he eats and drinks well, and is a happy boy, so I try not to worry, I know its hard sometimes when you get comments, but please try not to worry.
Sounds like you are doing a great job with her. I hope she is over her gastro.
Take care,
Shelby.
