gap costs - waverley private

Hi All
I am trying to organise the birth of my first child in Waverley Private hospital...but I'm doing it all from Hong Kong. Advice so far from people has been really useful - thank you!

I was just wondering if anyone who has given birth at Waverely Private could help me out with what they ended up paying in gap costs? My obstetrician has told me his gap is $1200....but I am wondering about costs for paediatricians and (possibly) an anaesthetist if I need an epidural.

Hi Claire

My DD went in to the SCN so was seen every day by a paed and we were never charged so i assume our health insurance paid in full - I didn;t have any epidural so can't help you there- What obs are you going with?
