- My DS loves dinosaurs desperately, and since I am moving him up to sunny Brisbane and away from all his friends I would give him a dinosaur themed room, I have looked all over the net - both in australia and overseas for a Dinosaur Bed- but it appears there is no such thing,

So I am asking all you knoweledgable Brisbane Bub hubs if any of you know a carpenter or some such thing to help me;

I am not looking for anything too flash, something similar to a car bed, (plywood cut to a dinosaur type shape etc.)

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks so much

Hey Marcelsmum!

Firstly welcome to Brisvegas:wave: O.k my husband (a carpenter) and I made my 2yr old son a big red car bed a little while ago as we wanted it to be more of a bubble shape instead of that low racing car look of the original wiggles bed. However, it took sometime as it was handpainted and very personal with Max's name on the number plate, I also painted the same theme on a raw pine chest of draws and toybox. We absolutely love it as it really came out well.:smiliedance: The only problem is it takes so long because it's a 'one off' (no templates). We could certainly look at doing you a Dinosaur bed, it depends how much realistically you wanted to pay and when you will be wanting it, if you want to pm me your email I'll send pictures of Max's so you can get a rough idea of how a dinosaur could look:thumbsup:
