Hi - im looking into prams at the moment - I'm wanting one that has the separate bassinette & Stand, toddler seat option, no more than approx 12kg.... it seems I'm wanting it all - the Bugaboo is great - pricey - but seems good - im a little concerned at the lack of storage etc - im seriously considering the Valco - Trimode as it has all of the above, but also really liked the look of the Infa Grenoble Ultra lite - but this doesn't seem to have the toddler seat - its only 9kg is is about $370 - has anyone got any of these? im leaning towards the 3 wheeler as i dont really like the look of the "plasticky:.. small 4 wheels and wonder how they'd go on bike tracks - but am also worried about the width of the 3 wheelers at the shops - HELP!!

Hi

I have the Bugaboo Frog and have found it good and bad for different reasons, with the others do they come apart in two sections as the Bugaboo does and every time I used to put it together I would hit my shins on the chassis which left them permanently bruised for a while  . I didn't know they made a Toddler seat for the Bugaboo as I have just purchased the toddler skateboard to fit on the back of it. The storage is okay as the bag opens out quite wide and the bag clips work well. The other fault we had with ours was that when DD reached about 15months she wanted out and would climb up over the seat or down under the bar, I ended up buying a cheap stroller so she could get up and walk when she and I wanted?? Hey but that could be the fact that my DD is very stubborn and was going to do what she wanted!

But I was able to run with it and never found it a problem as you could lock the wheels to go straight and not get the speed wobbles and because it is so light. We went on a five week trip overseas and took it along with the cover and it went well. My DH spent so much time looking into prams before DD was born it was ridiculous and it was more expensive than my first car but I think we have already got our moneys worth out of it. :)

thanks so much for that - sorry no the Bugaboo doesn't have the toddler seat - just the skateboard - wasn't sure how a toddler would go on that - hopefully a well behaved one! lol

we were looking at the bugaboo and the valco and now we are getting the mountain buggy urban elite, its not as pricy as the bugaboo and much stronger than the valcos.

the only thing the mountain buggy doesnt have that i wanted was a bassinett for the baby (you can buy seperately) but now im over that idea and i can see the baby anyway through the top of the pram..

Have looked at the Bertini Mio/Trio yet. They have the separate bassinet and seat, and is about 11 kgs (I think) and has a decent amount of storage. I have the Mio and have been quite happy. I can go shopping and can usually stuff 3-4 grocery bags into the basket on the bottom. It also has the lockable wheels if you want to run. The only complaint that I have is that it doesn't always fit down the checkout aisle at some grocery shops. We did also have an issue with the front wheel but the company sent new ones straight away and everything seems fine with it now. And the price is reasonable too.

i know, i know....i neither know about the valco, nor the bugaboo...

but
I LOVE my emma (emmaljunga)- i have the last cerox edition and LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE it :yelclap:
anyway- i run with it- i walk with it- i shop with it (i can do HUGE shoppings sprees- the basket underneath is great! )
what i liked most was -bubby had a really comfy seat/ bed- that was the most important thing for me....

sorry for gatecrashing
