He DID NOT knock. I am sitting right here and can hear the door.

I have been checking the letterbox all morning because I am expecting a couple of fluff-related things. I just happened to go out to check just after the postie had been, he was still in our street.

I looked in the mailbox and there was one of those cards in there saying I had some registered mail and it would be at the Post Office.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I ran after the postie waving the card yelling "Have you got this???"

It wasn't our usual postie (he must be on holidays) it was some young prat. He sheepishly nodded and got out my mail and the book and I signed for it.

Lazy so and so got BUSTED. Guess he doesn't know about housewives waiting for fluffy mail and how tenacious we are!!

It wasn't even fluffy mail, it was bubby's passport (which is still good).

Lucky I'm not still in my pyjamas. I'm gonna have to watch this lazy one.

What a goose. He has no idea did he about Housefrau's waiting for fluffy mail?

I wish a plague of nesting magpies all along his route.

Your letterbox is marked now, your fluffymail from henceforth will be pegged straight at your door.

I am waiting for a t-shirt that says 'Feisty Fairy' for Miss Cha, because that is exactly what she is.

We got a new postie a few months back & this now happens to us continuosly !!!!!
Ive complained at the post shop & they ' well they are busy you know " & im like well how the hell can they be if they dont even deliver the blasted packages anymore
We even get grief over getting half our packages if they are registered now because we dont have any i.d half the time .... Oh how this makes me truly cantankerous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my!
That would be funny to see but what shocking service.
We have been lucky with fluffy mail and even if I am not home I usually come home to a few parcles. I am thinking he saves them up sometimes!!!
Today I came home to 2 parcels (1 itti!)
I would be upset if my postie just rode past. Usually my 3 year old goes to the letter box so it would be his job to chase!!!

I have a special mat next to my front door for my postie to (carefully) lay my fluffy mail and other packages. He usually comes very early and when i get out of bed first thing i do is check the postie mat, he seems to appreciate the effort i put into getting him a mat. :o

I had a postie once lift my letterbox so it was open, then deposit the fluffy mail under my door mat.. So I stepped out, noticing that my letterbox was open, I was too busy looking at that to look down and I tripped over the stuff!
AND I'd been home all day so why didn't he just knock?

Ugh, our postie comes on a push-bike so NEVER tries to deliver anything larger than a magazine. *mutter* When I had to go to the Post four times in one week, I got all yell-y and asked how it is possible that they "missed me" four times that week, when I'm HOME ALL DAY?! Because I highly doubt he comes at 7am when I'm taking my husband to work. Pfft.

Dont worry i yelled also when i spoke to the stupid woman at the post shop cause she said " well obviously you werent home " Ummm sorry lady but i know im home when they come with the parcels cause the original guy would knock at 8am of a morning & even got so used to me knowing i was home etc he would just leave it at the front door unless it was registered !!! Then she did the whole " well they are busy " pfft

Sorry, it's probably not funny, but reading that gave me a chuckle!
You poor thing, atleast you got it, without having to go to the post office!

My postie leaves it under the door mat without knocking if there is a car parked outside.

But today I went out to the mailbox to find an A4 envelope stuffed into the letter box. He only managed to get a tiny corner into the box and the rest was hangingout for anyone to steal or for it to fall out and blow away. It had my HB boosters in it, the fool. My mail box is on the street as it's a block of townhouses so anyone could have walked past and took it! A hole, he could've put it at the door.

I feel better now
