soap making

where do i find soap making ingreidents? and the tools required :D
and if any one can send me a link of some recipes that be a great help fo rme and my sis

I found some at the local craft store (SPOTLIGHT), they are chips of glycerine in a packet you can buy opaque or coloured or clear. I coloured mine with food colouring and placed some lavender through it. The mould can be from chocolate moulds to anything I bought some shell shapes from spotlight too. They are really cheap. If you lived close I would lend you mine. You can also add essential oil to the mix as well.

Use your dropper to put a small amount in depending on how much soap your are making. It's strong stuff that oil so a little bit will smell really strong. Get a glass jug also as it gets really hot and will melt plastic.

I got mine off ebay (in 1kg lots), but i can't remember the name sorry. From what i remember it was pretty cheap (otherwise i wouldn't have bought it! LOL). I'm doing some for christmas pressies....have fun!

i to wanted to make soaps havnt had the time as i want to see if i can get a bit more money by opening a ebay store and sell soaps and things like that so let me know if you get any good ones and ill be sure to have a look around and let you know if i find any

I wanted to make some soaps for xmas pressies, but dont know where to start.

Is it expensive making them from scratch?? are the tools expensive?? Is it an easy craft or a hard one?? Can you buy kits for beginners, etc. If i go to spotlight can i get everything there or are there special soap shops to get it from?

ive found it very difficult to find any equipment or supplies in any stores - ive check out some good websites and will have to order from there.

Its a shame places like Spotlight dont focus on different stuff like Soapmaking rather than the usual scrapbooking, etc.

Time to pick out some recepies and start ordering :yelclap:
