Hi All
Our lovely daughter, in the last week has started to turn herself around in the cot, so that she is sleeping, or not:banghead: :banghead: , across, it, causing her to wake up in the middle of the night. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can stop this happening, as a full nights sleep would be great.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated:yes:

or try putting her to sleep in a sleeping bag so that she doesnt need to rely on blankets to keep her warm, and she can sleep in any position in the cot.
Good luck:thumbsup:

My daughter started to do this about a month ago and hubby bought some foam and we sewed some fabric around it and kind of made it into a "U" shape, so when we put her into the cot she was surrounded by it and it stopped her from turning. You can actually buy products like this, but what we did as heaps cheaper! We had to go to this extreme, because no matter what we did, she still turned onto her tummy, no matter how tight the sheet was! Also we found her wriggling out up the top, so the "U" pillow thingy stopped this also.

 I second the sleeping bag if she is waking cos she is getting cold. DD gets to just about every spot in her cot during the night and her keeps her nice and snug! If it's bumping into the bars etc that's waking her maybe try the U shaped thingy. When DD first discovered she could get around in her cot she would wake as soon as she touched the bars, now she is used to it it doesnt bother her, she only wakes if she gets her feet throught the bars! Nothing worked to stopped her from moving. Sorry if I'm not much help  :D

DS does this for every sleep we have him in a sleeping bag, it's funny everytime we go into his room and check on him he is in a different part of his cot.
