Dinosaur Birthday Cake

hey girls i need some help its aidans 3rd birthday in like 3 weeks and i want to do a Dinosaur Birthday cake but i dont know if i can do it, has any one got any idears on what i can do or what would be good for a little boys 3rd bday?

I made a dinosaur cake for my nephews 2nd birthday. I got the template from the internet, can't remember the exact site but I just googled dinosaur birthday cake and found a template and instructions.

you could always try having a look in the library. Thats helped me a few times. They have heaps of book on cake decorating, and also you can photo copy it and take it home or just borrow the book.

well you don't have to make a Dinosaur shaped cake you could just make a cake get green Icing get some Plastic dinosaurs and some little trees and it looks really good my little girl loved it .:thumbsup:

we had a dinosaur cake made for my sons 5th birthday its my avatar. was sooo cool.

My Son looooooves Dinosaurs (to the point of infatuation). Every year my DP makes a fantastic cake from scratch (he is a bit of an artist it is soo annoying.) But last year for my DS birthday party, he didn't have time to make one of his extravagent creations, So I bought a slab cake from Woolies, some green/blue jelly and a little tub of dinosaurs (including the palm tree thingies). I Iced the cake with green Icing and green colured dessicated coconut, cut a lake shape into the cake and filled it with jelly, and then put different dinosaurs on the cake and in the lake.

DS LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED the cake - he said it was better than his dads. and it took me hardly any time to make it.

*the little toy dinosaurs were also a hit with all the party guests as well.
