Painful abdomen after O anyone??

HI there!!
As some of you will know (October girls TTC will know anyway)
We are in the fertile period of this cycle and heading into the TWW tomorrow (1DPO), finally!!
But for about 3days now I have been having terrible cramps around my abdomen and back.
First of all I thought it must be O pains (though I have never experienced these in the past) but now after BD'ing today my entire abdomen feels bloated and sore.
I am wondering if it is because we have been BD'ing everyday for the past week and half ( not used to "doing it" that often!!).
I'm hoping it subsides tomorrow, if not I might visit my GP

Has anyone else had this happen when TTC and do you think it is anything I should be concerned about??
It really is quite uncomfortable even just sitting here is bothering me.:thumbsdown:

I've had this happen to me before - I wasnt bloated, but I was achey in the back and abdomen for about 3 days, then it got much worse for several hours on the third or fourth day, and then settled down again and was gone after 1-2 days. The day i had the worst pain turned out to be my O day.
If you need to take painkillers; if the pain gets worse; or if the pain lasts for more than 6 hours then I would see a doctor.
When it happened to me it was quite uncomfortable to BD, so we just cut down the number of times we did it and used sperm-friendly lube (and made sure i was eeeexxxxtra 'relaxed' IYKWIM ;) ). - remember u only need 1 good spermie! even every 2nd day bding is fine. (ur man must be luvin you!!)
Hopefully its tolerable for you and should be gone by tomorrow - let me know how it goes.

I actually don't feel quite so bad this morning but still have to BD today so after that I will know whether it is still there IYKWIM as that seems to make it worse.
So I guess it probably is just a case of too much of a good thing combined with O pains, I always thought "O pains" was a myth!!
Man I hope I'm preg this month as I can't stand the thought of doing this all over again next month.
Maybe we will just narrow it down to every second day instead of exhasuting ourselves :laughing:

Hunny this happened to me this cycle!!! I have had sore ovaries, cervix etc from about 2dpo! and when we bded around this time, my abdomen was SO PAINFUL!!!!! it was like an aching period pain... :fingerscrossed: for you for this month!

Yep we "did it" once more today just to be safe since I had the positive OPK yesterday and it was rather ouch!! Must be overdoing it lol:laughing:

Sex can be painful if you have endometriosis. I have had fertility issues in the past and research signs and symptoms of everything that can cause infertility. One of the signs of endo is painful intercourse. Just thought I would let you know. If you have painful heavy periods, or it hurts to have a bowel movement then I would definately check into it.
