I work part time BUT at night. I leave home at 7.30pm and get home at 12.30 am Mon- Fri.
I usually get out of bed 7.30am and Dh is looking after DD when she wakes up. DH usually leaves 7.30am -8.00am so BD is out of the question in the morning.
Dh usually gets home 6.00pm and DD is in bed about 7.30pm when im walking out the door.
So we have to bd on weekends or at midnight when i get home.
O is Thur/fri for the last 3 cycles... so it totally wears us out.

My suggestion, is get hubby to have a sicky around O thats what i might do next month:thumbsup:

But i hear you loud and clear!

I work and DF stays home with our son.
Before i started TTC i was doing 5 days a week, but have cut down to 3 sometimes 4 days a week, so i can be more relaxed and a bit laid back :)

But im more stressed than ever because TTC was taking over our lifes thats all we could think of so im thinking about going back to work 5 days a week......

And since DF isent working atm its usualy me who is tired and cranky but i still "do it" LOL!!!

Luv Katherine

Gawd, do i knpow the feeling. I'm a student, but im also the Duty Manager of a pub. I work nights, and DP starts work at 7am! 90% of the time, he is asleep i n bed before im even home. It means we dont get to BD as much and it does make TTC harder...
I'm also worried about being pg in a pub environment..

I'm hearing you!!! I work fulltime and my DH works shift work ( one week of earlies followed by one week of lates) It seemed that my O always fell on the late weeks which was horrendous because I get up at 6am at go to work. But there is hope....we finally caught the egg last month!!! Very frustrating tho trying to co-ordinate and takes the spontaneity (sp) out of BDing!!

Hey sexyminx!

Girls I know what you mean about too tired to bd!! I work a full time job plus suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome (not as bad as i used too, but still affects me), and dp works long hours too. The other night (mid-bd), honestly we both nearly fell asleep on each other, it was so funny (and a bit scary  ).

Hunny if you wanted to get a part time job (if thats what you were getting at), I think you would enjoy the time away aswell as the extra dollars in your pocket at the end of the week. and your little man would probably love daycare a day or 2 a week.
And for everyone else ttc whilst too tired to even take their pants off for it  , :fingerscrossed: , i know what you mean!!!!!!

Hi all,
Im with niknax on this one I work 3-5 days at the moment starting 5 days at the end of the month and DF works shift work of 2 days and 2 nights a week then has 4 days off (he does 12 hr shifts from 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) and the shifts rotate through the week so some times were lucky to be home on the same day but its minimal weekends are non existant some months because hes at work and WAY too tired after work! :fingerscrossed: we can catch the egg this month, and that lots of others can too!

Im with you here as well.
Isn't it frustrating :banghead:

I work MON- FRI
8.00am - 5.00am

Hubby works MON-FRI, sometimes SUN-THURS
2.00am-10.30am

So alot of the time hubby is in bed by 7.00ish and ALWAYS complains he is too tired, but he is normally keen to go for it as soon as i walk in the door:rolleyes:
