VB with second degree tearing and a graze. My baby had a big 37cm head and I felt the fire this time :devil6:

I had a few hours of painful (but small) contractions (due to her position, she wasn't posterior or anterior, but somewhere in between) followed by an epidural & oxytocin drip, episiotomy and vacuum extraction, then a trip to theatre for a general to sort out a retained placenta...

Not quite what I had in the birth plan!!!

I had a nice short, but intense labour and a fantastic waterbirth with no tearing just 1 small graze. Oh and did I mention I did it on my own with no drugs and the labour was spontaneous:smiliedance: ( sorry had to throw that in as Im still so excited that it happened on its own)

I had a straightforward VB, except I laboured for 3 nights:eek: , as contractions slowed down from every 2-5 mins to every 20 mins during the day. Very disappointing, and tiring! Was 2cm after the 1st night, 5cm after the second night, had Phoenix on the 3rd @1.16am. Phew! We went in to the birth centre @ 3am on the second night- contractions coming every 3 mins- but they stopped at 6am. Thank god the birth centre sent us home on the morning after the 2nd night otherwise we'd have been shifted to the labour ward and put on the drip!!!

Had a small tear, (no sutures or stitches) due to large son (3.86kg) with big head (38cm). Used Nitrous for last hour before pushing- thank god as was losing voice from moaning and wailing!

Would do it again, though- remember the pain but had a good birth really, once it got cracking. My body just needed to take its own time. :fingerscrossed: Maybe a daughter in a year or two?

normal vb for me when i finally went into spontaneous labour 2 weeks overdue. only used the gas and ended up with stitches after my little man decided to rip his arm out and wave it around as soon as his head came out. he loves sleeping with his arms up over his head.

A normal spontaneous vb birth for me. No drugs for the birth but needed the gas to stitch up the 2nd degree tear.

A normal VB for me with a wonderful epidural.
For the first time I went into labour naturally (no induction).

I had a vb, but waters wouldn't break again and had to be ruptured. Scarlett was out 10 mins later and got really caught up in the cord!! Rather scary!!!!!! Glad she is here safe and sound!
