When DH isn't working overnight or early morning we take a baby each to separate beds. No matter which baby he gets it has a horrible sleep. With me they wake 3 times each at the most.
I am starting to suspect it's because he gets cranky and irritable with them waking up and this winds them up.
Would you take both kids every night if it meant they could sleep happier?

No I'd buy him some HTFU pills. We use to (when we just had the 2 boys) take a child each, no way would I of taken both of them.

Lol. I've told him so many times they get wound up because he's cranky.
It's about the babies having a happy sleep, definitely not him.

If both the kids would sleep with me I would take them. I had a similar problem with my kids when they were younger but I was single so had no one to take the other baby! But they just wouldn't sleep in the same bed with me, even if i had one on each side they would climb over me and it would be all fun and games. Yeah, ideally he shouldnt get cranky during the night but I mean, most people get cranky when they are tired or having interrupted sleep. So I say, if you can get both kids to sleep in the same bed as you, go for it!
I would just take both the kids.
DS1 sleeps in his own bed no probs, but occasionally wants to sleep in with me.DS2 always is there.DH hates being squashed up,so sleeps in DS2s bed LOL.
I am so used to sleeping with kids, have done it for over 6 years,so I can sleep just fine with them there (cant when they are not,it feels weird:laughing:)
DH isnt,so doesnt bother me if he goes off without the kids.
