I dont know if anyone can remember my previous thread but here's a quick update.
I had been undergoing IVF for 15mths, I had done 5 full cycles with PGD and Sex Selection as we have a medical history with problems in boys....so we were trying for a girl. Sadly even though we concieved our son naturally we could not even get a healthy egg with IVF. I was exhausted and emotionally couldnt carry on so we decided to give IVF a rest.
Suprisingly I fell pregnant the 1st month nhaturally. We were so upset and worried that there would be probs with our bubby we had a CVS test booked in. We had an 11 wk ultrasound, they said they were 90% sure it was a BOY. I cried for fear of probs.....termination was an option but one we had difficulty even considering.
Anyhow, I had the CVS test last week where they put a needle into the placenta and take a sample.....it was awful and so scary....I fainted afterwards.
Fearing the worst all night and all the next day.
The mobile rang at 2pm, it was the hospital........I was shaking....I will never forget these few words
:smiliedance: IT'S A GIRL!!!
My Mum and I cried and cried....it was the best news ever. So, we are thrilled to bits and she is healthy.
I cant believe I am having a girl naturally after all I went through.....It was meant to be.
